This Systems Operations Engineer position is a senior engineering role that will provide technical solutions for the Commercial Lending Business Technology platform and will help innovate processes and capabilities to make the platform more resilient and efficient. This senior Platform Management resource will analyze and resolve complex issues in a high visibility distributed JAVA/J2EE and .NET based middleware platform. He/she will actively interact with development resources, technical partner teams, vendors, and business partners to innovate systems, processes, and methodologies.
The candidate must have a strong application support background, robust scripting experience, and a solid monitoring/performance tuning foundation. Familiarity with various middleware technologies, database architectures, NAS/SAN, and network systems is also highly desired. The ability to take initiative, problem solve, and lead high visibility fast-paced efforts (while effectively communicating to technical and senior leaders) is a must. The candidate must have strong verbal and written communication skills and have the ability to multi-task and analyze complex issues in critical situations. As a senior resource within the team, this individual will mentor junior team members. The ability to work in a positive and collaborative manner, within a large virtual team setting, is crucial. A proactive mindset (combined with a willingness to learn new processes and tools) is vital to this role.
+ 3+ years of Apache experience
+ 4+ years of Autosys experience
+ 4+ years of web applications experience
+ 6+ years of application production support experience
+ 5+ years of experience providing monitoring tools support for applications built on JAVA or .NET platforms
+ 3+ years of scripting experience using Windows Powershell, Unix Shell Scripting, Perl, Python, Java or PL-SQL
+ 2+ years of experience with Cloud technologies
+ 3+ years of experience with Application performance, monitoring and optimization using Blazemeter, JMeter, Splunk and AppDynamics
+ 5+ years of systems support analysis experience demonstrated through work or military experience
+ 3+ years of experience working in managed services as demonstrated through work, military, or education
+ Knowledge and understanding of network monitoring technologies
+ Experience supporting an enterprise-level environment
+ Ability to interact with all levels of an organization; including management
+ Strong team or technical leadership experience
+ Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
