    **Description**

    Semi-skilled employees who operate at least one piece of heavy equipment such as haul trucks, water trucks, and rubber-tired dozers. Employees will work under minimal supervision in environments where the primary objective is safe production.

    + Operate heavy equipment

    + Communicate via 2-way radio and computerized dispatching system

    + Assist in mine support activities as necessary

    + Perform other duties as assigned

    **Qualifications**

    **Minimum Qualifications**

    + Mobile equipment operations experience

    + At least six (6) months in trade

    **Preferred**

    + High School diploma or GED

    **Criteria/Conditions**

    + Ability to understand and apply verbal and written work and safety-related instructions and procedures given in English

    + Ability to communicate in English with respect to job assignments, job procedures, and applicable safety standards

    + Must be able to work in a potentially stressful environment
