The Compensation Technology is responsible for the review, configuration, and testing of new internal sales commission plan requirements into our calculation engines. The Compensation is also responsible for the hand-off of the implemented changes to the Compensation Operations group for ongoing processing.

Humana is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to support our commission area. In this role, you will evaluate the impact of requested changes and work closely with stakeholders to configure the commission calculation rules along with any needed reporting. The ideal candidate would have experience configuring complex payment calculations and reports using the Varicent ICM software application.

The Senior Software Engineer oversees system configuration and develops fixes for defects. Researches configuration requests and makes necessary adjustments and/or recommendations to resolve complex software related issues.

**Responsibilities:**

+ Review inbound stories that are submitted for system updates

+ Determine impacts and configuration of the changes requested

+ Configures system calculated commissions from the user stories provided

+ Corrects defects to ensure pay calculations and statements are accurate

**SUMMARY:**

The Software engineer, Credit and Fraud risk technology is responsible for building and maintaining risk decision systems that scale across products with a unified approach to rule/business logic management.

Part of the Credit & Fraud risk technology group, this individual will contribute to the design and delivery of robust, scalable microservices in support of digital bank’s mission-critical decisioning infrastructure.

**PRINCIPAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:**

+ Design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable software applications using Java/Kotlin, Spring Boot, MongoDB, and related technologies.

**POSITION SPECIFICATIONS:**
