    Acts as primary site contact and site manager throughout all phases of a clinical research study, taking overall responsibility of allocated sites.

    **Responsibilities**

    Job Summary:

    The Clinical Research Associate (CRA) position, is an office based position located at Barrow Neurological Institute, on the St. Joseph’s Hospital and Medical Center Campus. This position will report directly to the BNI Clinical Research Organization (CRO) Program Manager. The CRA position will independently be responsible for clinical monitoring activities and overall project administration to oversee the progress of multi-center, investigator initiated, or industry sponsored clinical studies throughout the United States and Canada.

    The CRA will travel to assigned clinical research sties to conduct approx. 25-30 clinical trial monitoring visits each year, and will also complete remote/centralized monitoring visits to ensure clinical studies are conducted, recorded, and reported in accordance with the protocol, standard operating procedures (SOPs), International Conference on Harmonization- Good Clinical Practice (ICH-GCP) guidelines, and all applicable regulatory requirements.

    The CRA will be responsible for the timely reporting of all monitoring visit findings, and is expected to complete comprehensive monitoring reports and associated deliverables to provide back to the Sponsor and the clinical sites.     Job Summary:

    Join us now as our Research Dept is seeking a RESEARCH ASSOCIATE PROFESSOR to join our team! This Research Associate Professor (RAP) position will coordinate several lines of research in the Manfredsson laboratory. Specifically, the candidate will be responsible for overseeing research projects involving the generation of novel viral vectors based on AAV, and the application of these in the study of neurological disorders. The candidate will be responsible for viral vector (AAV) production, genome and capsid design, and additional research involving the basic biology of recombinant viral vectors. In this role, it is expected that the candidate will manage several trainees and technicians, and participate in the day to day operations of the research lab; duties will include but are not limited to collaborative experimental design, conducting experimental laboratory work, analyzing and writing up results in a timely manner for publication in peer-reviewed journals.
