This role requires on-site, in-person support in a secure facility. Systems Engineers are key members of a cross-disciplinary team helping drive the design, development, integration & test, launch, and on-orbit operations of complex space systems and capabilities.     **Basic Qualifications:**

    + BS Engineering degree and 14+ years of experience, a master's degree and 12+ years of experience or a PhD and 9+ years of experience

    + Previous experience or education in satellite Astrodynamics, preferably LEO.

    + Experience in modeling and simulation of physical systems in Satellite Toolkit (STK).

    + Strong technical problem-solving skills and an aptitude for understanding system and subsystem interactions.

    + **Must have US Citizenship with an Active/Current Secret U.S. Government Security Clearance with TS/SCI eligibility.**

    **Preferred Qualifications:**

    + M.S. in Astrodynamics with 12+ years of experience.

    + Strong computing skills with familiarity with Python, Systems Tool Kit (STK), MATLAB, C/C++, Fortran.

    + Knowledge and experience with satellite functions to include attitude control, power management, thermal control, propulsion, command and data handling, flight and ground software.

    + Experience in aerospace systems, spacecraft design, or mission operations.

    + Experience in requirements management, system architecture development and CONOPs.

    + **Active or current TS/SCI U.S. Government Security Clearance.**

    **Salary Range:** $142,500 - $213,700

    The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

    Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
