This role is for a Lead Electrical Engineer, responsible for developing electronic solutions for Product COEs across the Aerospace organization. You will lead the definition, development and verification of Printed Board Assemblies that comply with customer, industry, and internal requirements. Printed Board Assemblies will be mixed signal, requiring a blend of analog, power and digital design experience. Expertise in environmental and EMC design standards, analysis techniques and best practices is also required. As a Lead Engineer, you will lead cross-functional teams through the hardware development process.

Description:

As a Digital Circuit Design Engineer, you’ll be responsible for:

+ Designing, implementing and testing complex digital, mixed signal, and analog circuit card assemblies for aerospace environment

+ Schematic entry (Cadence Capture CIS), Circuit Simulation (PSpice), Programmable logic design (VHDL) & verification (ModelSim/QuestaSim)

+ Hardware troubleshooting / software debugging (Assembly, C++, C#)

Determining client’s requirements and translating them into an actionable plan

Review and submit materials and equipment as required by client’s engineer

Create RFIs based on plan and specification analysis along with field input

This position is responsible for performing electrical testing of a new battery charger product to Aerospace standards under the guidance of a Sr. Electrical Engineer. Additionally, the position requires the ability to support the development of the Automated Test Procedure (ATP) required for production testing of the same battery charger product.
