**About this role:**

Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Lead Digital Product Manager for Quality and Test Engineering (QTE) in our Chief Development Office (CDO) organization. The organization enables modern & reliable Developer Experience platforms (DevX Platforms) that further elevates end-end developer experience, through predictable, prioritized yet prescriptive technology services that development & engineering teams rely upon for their success.

We are looking for Sr. technology leaders, who will focus on enabling Software Quality engineering, further elevating the current value stream for software delivery with improved quality and developer experience. This leader's role will be to support the engineering community's ability to release quality software through agile delivery across all Wells Fargo Customer Journeys, Products, Applications and Services. Responsibilities include the development and implementation of an Enterprise quality engineering and testing strategy, frameworks, best practices, guiding principles, products/platforms, and tooling to enable automated testing, environment provisioning/test data management, test execution with optimal controls for all phases and types of testing within the SDLC.

**In this role, you will:**

+ Strategic Development: Define, assess, update, and communicate a clear product vision and strategy. Lead the vision and roadmap for Development Enablement Product ensuring alignment with the Wells Fargo bank domain architecture, product model, industry standards, and regulatory compliance.

+ Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with partner product managers and technical leadership to define objectives, key results, and a roadmap that delivers features increasing engagement with customers and each line of business objectives.

+ Lifecycle Management: Oversee the entire product lifecycle for the **Development Enablement Product** or the **Quality and Test Engineering Product** from concept to deployment. Provide performance metrics, financial objectives, and feature iteration that increase customer engagement.

+ Stakeholder Engagement: Leverage market experience and analysis to engage and communicate with stakeholders at all levels of the organization, translating technical details into business value and driving consensus across the WF lines of business.

**Required Qualifications:**

+ 7+ years of digital product management experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

+ 3+ years of management experience

**Desired Qualifications:**

+ Experience in leading application development & delivery teams supporting major line of business and/or horizontal technology services for the firm.

+ Experience with leading quality, test, performance & reliability engineering frameworks with modern application development platforms and practices.

+ Experience with secure DevOps and deployment automation to cloud environments.

+ Agile experience with an Agile practitioner mindset understanding common Agile practices, service-oriented environments, and iterative development practices and tools.

+ Experience with Private and Public Cloud environments.

+ Comfortable with ambiguity and facilitating discussions to explore the best viable solutions and possess the ability to lead.

+ Ability to work and influence successfully within a matrix environment and build effective business partnerships with all levels of team members.

+ Evaluate growth options, assess new opportunities, and identify blockers including turning strategy into cross-functional aligned efforts.

+ Understanding of Information Technology governance risk and compliance processes

+ Ability to influence and lead organizational change in a dynamic environment.

+ Ability to communicate effectively, in both written and verbal formats, at all levels of the organization, including senior executive-level leadership.

Primary Responsibilities:

The salary range for this role is 77,000 USD - 163,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. Position Summary:

Advocate and support the Corporate WIN Strategy by managing the quality operations in the assigned Value Stream. Develops, modifies, applies, and maintains quality standards for products and processes. Provides statistical information for quality improvement by gathering data on trends and root cause analysis. Responsible to guide technical evaluation, analysis, and related data acquisition processes to ensure plant quality objectives are achieved.

Reports to Quality Control Manager. Interfaces with Product Engineering, Manufacturing and Quality Departments.

Essential Functions:

+ Assesses quality performance (or cost-of-quality) using statistical and analytical methods. Devises and implements various methods and procedures for inspecting, testing and evaluating the precision, reliability and accuracy of products, processes and production equipment.

+ Develops and establishes quality systems and procedures, inspection plans, quality performance trends, statistical plans, cost estimates and technical quality plans for proposals. Ensures that project and/or process control documentation is compliant with requirements and/or contract.

+ Assesses the cost of, and determines the responsibility for, products or materials that do not meet required standards and specifications by performing statistical analyses.

+ Provides input on quality to product development teams.

+ Identifies quality performance, trends and corrective action by coordinating with customers and suppliers. Ensures compliance to specified quality requirements by performing in-house and supplier audits and surveys. Develops and initiates programs to improve supplier performance.

+ Prepares reports by collecting, interpreting, analyzing and summarizing data and making recommendations. Analyzes proposed changes in methods and materials. Compiles and writes training material and conducts training sessions. On quality control activities.

+ Participates in failure analysis and corrective action investigations.

+ Refines and enhances products and processes by applying continuous improvement and key lean manufacturing/production principles and techniques to critical areas of production.

+ Represents company by interfacing with customers, assisting with internal and external audits. May act as main contact in audit. Develops and coordinates corrective action procedures and plans.

+ Communicates and educates Value Stream Team on matters requiring specialized knowledge of quality functions, i.e., Production Approval Process (PPAP), Advanced Product Quality Process (APQP), and document control.

+ Makes quality-related customer and vendor visits and contacts as required.

+ Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing publications, establishing industry networks, benchmarking state-of-the-art practices, maintaining American Society for Quality certification, and/or participating in other professional associations.

Qualifications:

+ Bachelors degree (BS) in Engineering or a related discipline.

+ Demonstrated ability to perform the essential functions of the job typically acquired through two or more years of related experience.

+ American Society for Quality certification desired.

+ Thorough knowledge of state-of-the-art inspection and quality inspection and quality engineering/assurance techniques, procedures, instruments, equipment, theories, principles and concepts and general business operations.

+ Ability to effectively assess and implement continuous improvement techniques to quality and manufacturing functions.

+ Ability to use standard business applications software and/or specialized data analysis tools.

+ Ability to establish goals and objectives to complete projects.

+ Ability to effectively communicate and present information to team members, team leaders and top management.

+ Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions.

**Overview**

GovCIO is currently hiring for a Test Engineer to support on the VRE PSES contract. The ideal candidate would provide testing support utilizing various tools to ensure quality product is delivered to our VA customer. This position is full time and fully remote.

**Responsibilities**

Designs, develops, and implements testing methods and equipment to ensure that the product will perform to specifications. Plans and arranges the labor, schedules, and equipment required for testing and evaluating the product. Designs test cases for test plans and creates test scenarios in which tests are carried out. Compiles data, defines required changes and reports defects and problems that occurred during the test process. Implements and participates in the walkthrough of the product. Automated testing may be used for leveling based on hiring manager discretion.

+ Consults with the development and/or requirements team to coordinate and test applications.

+ Performs analysis, diagnostics, and preliminary evaluations of products. Develop testing procedures.

+ Develops test plans, scripts, scenarios, functional tests, regression tests, and deployment tests.

+ Implements the testing processes and ensures all test activities follow those processes. Produces reports on each test activity and tracks test metrics.

+ Monitors for continual test process improvement through failure analysis, throughput analysis, yield analysis, and report to management periodically.

+ End-to-End Software Testing Life Cycle from testing, defect logging and verification of closure of defects, Root Cause Analysis.

**Required Skills and Experience**

Ensure processes and products adhere to customer, company, and industry quality standards. A quality engineer is responsible for the generation of a strategic plan to improve the business processes and increase production output. Duties include creating the company's quality standards and testing systems to reflect efficiency, reliability and performance. Quality engineers are also responsible for the creation of documentation that reports issues and errors relating to the production process with efforts placed to find a solution.

Assignment of functions and duties:

1. Interfaces with customers, suppliers, and with other departments within the company to identify and resolve quality-related issues, and ensure Customer Satisfaction.

2. Coordinate MRB activities for relevant product lines.

3. Develop APQP documentation including Process Flows, FMEAs, and Control Plans, including updates as required.

4. Define and/or develop appropriate inspection method/plans including the use of relevant statistical techniques.

5. Coordinate process/product improvements using 6-sigma, 8D, and other improvement tools.
