Job Description

At Renesas, the Product Engineer is responsible for NPI execution – you will be managing and working with our design, product & test development team in US, EU and APAC; supporting new product introduction projects & activities to ensure smooth transition of these new products from development to manufacturing phase.

We are looking for the right candidate to manage a team of Product Engineers for on time introduction and productization of new SiP/module products by supporting package development, product qualification, product characterization, reliability assessment, manufacturability, yield entitlement and ramp readiness.

**Duties And Responsibilities:**

+ Lead a team of experienced and early career product engineers with day-to-day product engineering tasks related to SiP/Module-based new product development.

+ Guide team to interface with quality, reliability and failure analysis teams to define optimized qualification and reliability plan for new product introduction.

+ Collaborate with test team for defining the ATE characterization methodology for guaranteeing datasheet performance through temperature testing and for production limits and guard band setting to ensure yield and manufacturability.

+ Perform data analysis, yield enhancement, product cost reduction and device reliability improvement.

+ Set the right priorities and goals and monitor performance with the aim of nurturing and building talent and continuously improving PE execution metrics.

+ Ensure execution of project aligned to committed schedule. React with urgency to ensure problems are addressed before they impact schedule or cost.

+ Effectively communicate with team and leadership

+ Build collaborative relationships with other functional and cross functional teams to improve execution efficiency and successful hand-off from development to mass production.

Qualifications

+ 15+ Years’ experience in the semiconductor industry working in product engineering, test engineering or quality and reliability type role is preferred. Must have experience with SiP/Module development.

+ 5+ years’ experience with leading or managing a team is preferred.

+ Experience working within a mixed-signal PMIC or large-scale semiconductor integrator is highly preferred.

**Education:**

+ Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, electronics or similar degree.

**GENERAL PURPOSE** :

The Productivity Engineer I is responsible for the development, implementation, documentation, and support of the engineered production standards as well as the development and implementation of best\-method practices in a high volume distribution and logistics operation\. Additional responsibilities include maintaining the SQL based Production Recording and the Labor Management System, along with developing and executing queries used in engineering analysis\. The Productivity Engineer I works directly with Operations Managers and Supervisors during the development and implementation of best methods, standard conditions and the engineered labor standards\. The Productivity Engineer I collaborates across the network to ensure methods and standards are consistent\.

**ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS** :

• Develops best methods, standard conditions and engineered labor standards for multi\-variable production operations\.

• Identifies and evaluates improvements in methods, procedures, and workflow that increase productivity, and decrease operating cost\.

• Coordinates the implementation of engineered methods, standards, and reporting systems \- including conducting standards introduction meetings and analysis presentations with associates, supervisors, managers and directors\.

+ Develop and manage materials engineering foundation documents and update to prevent issue recurrence:

• Reporting to and under the general direction of the Director of Engineering, the Product Engineer is responsible for developing and maintaining competitive and innovative products to meet customer requirements and engineering milestones.

**Summary:**

Production Engineers at Meta are hybrid software/systems engineers who ensure that Meta's services run smoothly and have the capacity for future growth. They are embedded in every one of Meta's product and infrastructure teams, and are core participants in every significant engineering effort underway in the company.Our Reality Labs Production Engineering team is comprised of varying levels of experience and backgrounds, from new grads to industry veterans. We work on the infrastructure that powers the next generation of social connection mediums and platforms to the world.Relevant industry experience is important, but ultimately less so than your demonstrated abilities and attitude. We sail into uncharted waters every day at Meta in Production Engineering, and we are always learning.This position is full-time.

**Required Skills:**

Production Engineer Responsibilities:

1. Own backend infrastructure services from realtime RPC services to batch processing pipelines

2. Write and review code, develop documentation and capacity plans, and debug the hardest problems, live, on some of the largest and most complex systems in the world

3. Together with your engineering team, you will share an on-call rotation and be an escalation contact for service incidents

In this role responsibilities include, although not limited to:

The solutions will be developed on full stack infrastructure – knowledge of database, middleware and front end are needed.
