    The Mechanical Products organization is seeking several early career Mechanical Engineers at our Tucson, AZ, plant site to support across multiple programs both in development and production. This Mechanical Engineering position performs in alignment to expectations in the design development and production support areas associated with mechanical designs, validation principals, qualification processes, procurement, and production processes across a designs life cycle.

    Development work may include requirements understanding, concept development, DFMAs, PFMAs, margin analysis, technical data package (TDP) development, application of geometric dimensioning and tolerance principals, engineering test principals, preparation of technical analysis reports, and presenting in design reviews.

    As a Mechanical Engineer in an individual contributor role, responsibilities will include recommending solutions to a wide range of technical problems related to the design, manufacture, integration, and production sustainment of various mechanical sub-systems both in the engineering lab and the factory floor both at Raytheon Missiles & Defense and at suppliers.

    Post critical design activities include contributing to first article inspections, work instruction reviews, material dispositions, and root cause investigations to production issues.

    Decisions are data driven and require preparing technical justification analysis reports and presenting to a variety of Engineering Review Boards.

    We are seeking an experienced Solar Project Engineer across the US located in the following states: AZ, FL, GA, MS, OH, PA, TX & VA .

    ROLE SUMMARY:

    Responsible for ensuring project documents and drawings are being coordinated in compliance with company standards and project requirements. Contributes to efficient day-to-day operations by providing administrative support to the project team. This includes, clerical, data entry support and processing of accounts payable and accounts receivable.

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    * Reviews documents and drawings for necessary data, enters appropriate data into the corresponding PCL document tracking system, and checks records for accuracy and completion.
    * Ensures that all documents are filed electronically on the project computer network and that a record of these filings are recorded in the corresponding PCL document tracking system where applicable (Document Log, RFI Log, Letter Log, etc.).
    * Updates project and contract documents (drawings and specifications) as directed by the project team.
    * Ensures that all required documentation is distributed to required stakeholders internally and externally.
    * Maintains project master document register and document distribution matrix.
    * Assists in the preparation of project turnover materials including the generation of operations and maintenance manuals, assembly of all documents, and the organization and presentation of the materials.
    * Audits document log and project file, identifies document discrepancies, and expedites delivery of missing documents.
    * Liaises with the project team and external parties for verification and resolution of relevant project and contract documentation issues.
    * Collects and obtains approval and processes through PCL business systems all accounts payable and accounts receivable in a timely and accurate manner to meet all contract payment terms as per legislation, contract terms, and PCL policy and procedures.
    * Assembles client billings package in accordance with contract terms and conditions and follows up appropriately to ensure on-time payment.
    * Provides project team with various ad hoc reports and analysis as required.
    * Develops and maintains strong customer-focused relationships with all stakeholders.
    * Values and models the solution provider and profitability culture.
    * Other duties as required.

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    * Certificate IV in Accounting and Bookkeeping or equivalent industry experience.
    * Ability to learn basic construction processes and technology, including drawings and specifications, building material, and required standards applicable to the discipline.
    * Flexible and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
    * Professional verbal and written communication skills in English.
    * Ability to recognize problems and provide solutions.
    * Professional, service-oriented approach internally and externally.
    * Ability to act with discretion when handling confidential and privileged information.
    * Exposure to project costing principles, recoveries, insurance, and prime contract/ subcontract requirements as related to accounting.
    * Exposure to subcontract purchase order (PO) terms, including insurance and subcontractor default insurance (SDI) requirements.
    * Exposure to owner contracts as they relate to payment terms.
    * Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks with conflicting deadlines.
    * Organizational skills and high level of detail orientation to maintain all necessary documentation and meet deadlines and requirements.
    * Ability to work independently or in a team environment, with strong interpersonal skills.
    * Advanced skills using the Microsoft Office Suite and other applicable systems. One year in an administrative role or equivalent technical experience.
