We are currently seeking a graphics hardware/software architect to support custom graphics pipeline SW enabling for AR/VR systems. As part of the Graphics Hardware team, the candidate will contribute to the development of HW/SW emulation systems, architecture of profiling tools and GFX SW stack optimization. The ideal candidate for this role will have an excellent grasp of the graphics pipeline, SW/HW emulation, system SW architecture and power/performance profiling and optimization.     The engineer will be a module leader who will provide technical direction for all analyses performed on static structural components and systems for an exciting new gas turbine engine development program. Responsibilities include guiding the analysis, design, development, and test planning for static structural components to meet requirements for life, cost, weight, maintainability, and durability.     Summary

    The Overhead Design Engineer Sr./Consultant will manage and support the engineering/design efforts for the company's Strategic Transmission Plan. These include projects ranging from 230kV to 500kV spanning the majority of the state. The projects will be engineered and designed by an external consultant through a future Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) agreement. Additionally, oversight will be provided by an external Owner’s Engineer. Duties of the APS Overhead Design Engineer will include managing the external EPC and Owner’s Engineer firms, tracking and monitoring quality and timeliness of deliverables, and developing and implementing quality assurance/quality controls of the contractors. Responsibilities will include ensuring designs meet APS engineering standards, assist and lead in development of standards where they may not exist, and reviewing and approving critical aspects of the design. The successful candidate will coordinate and/or interact with key internal functional areas and various external entities.

    Minimum Requirements

    Engineer Senior

    + A four-year Bachelors degree in an engineering discipline or related applied science discipline (see approved list) from an ABET accredited institution, an International Engineering Alliance (IEA) recognized institution or an ABET Mutual Recognition Agreement (MRA) plus eight (8) years working experience in Engineering-related positions.

    + Approved degrees: Materials Science/Metallurgy, Physics, Chemistry, Math, Nuclear, Electrical, Mechanical, Civil, Electronics, Computer Science, Environmental, Chemical, Architectural, Structural.
