    What will you be doing?

    Role Summary/Purpose

    The Suez Field Service Engineer (FSE) will provide routine to complex field service support for our core Sievers® brand total organic carbon (TOC) analytical instruments and accessories at customer sites predominantly in the Arizona, New Mexico, Utah, and Southern CA areas. Additional customer sites will be serviced as needed within the US. Ideally the incumbent would be located within the greater Phoenix metropolitan area.

    In this role, you will troubleshoot a variety of routine to more complex problems related to operation, maintenance, and the calibration of the instruments. There is generally no on-call, weekend, or holiday work associated with this role.

    Essential Functions/Responsibilities

    · Conduct service activities on all TOC product lines including maintenance, calibration of equipment, inspection, repair, performance testing, and customer communications.

    · Interpret data, charts, and trends as part of understanding the chemistry and science of instrument operations for more complex troubleshooting and application issues

    · Execute validations (IQ, OQ, PQ) of TOC instruments at pharmaceutical sites

    · Deliver service to key accounts across various industries

    · Respond to higher level on demand contract services for troubleshooting and repair as required

    · Work closely with Sales to provide new instrument leads as well as upsell service and consumables at existing customer sites

    · Ability to travel extensively, and work schedules that will fluctuate based on customer and business needs / demands

    · Write clear and concise reports for customers

    · Organize and maintain accurate field parts stock and account for all inventory transactions

    · Plan services and parts shipments for those services

    · Represent SUEZ in the most responsible and professional manner as this single role represents the entire company in all that is done

    · Ensure compliance with all aspects of safety on the job, including the operation and maintenance of an assigned company vehicle and comply with all Suez Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) policies

    Manufacturing technician should be capable and experienced in working in a broad based manufacturing environment which includes:

    •Under minimal supervision, fabricate and assemble complex Space flight cable and harnesses assemblies from drawings, schematics, wire lists, or engineering sketches in conformance with government specifications and workmanship standards.

    •Support cable and harness installations to spacecraft per installation drawings and procedures.

    •A strong understanding of wiring processes, crimping, splicing, wire routing, and assembly techniques as it applies to NASA standard harness assembly operations is required.

    •Space Flight quality Hand soldering and assembly of printed circuit boards to NASA/J-Std Flight requirements.

    •Must be capable of soldering fine pitch flat pack IC's and components and have an excellent working knowledge of standard soldering practices and techniques.

    •Must be capable of performing circuit card assembly rework and repair operations as detailed by manufacturing Engineering and rework documentation.

    •Familiarization with Class Zero ESD requirements and flat pack IC lead forming capability a plus.

    •A High School diploma or equivalent and a minimum of two years of related experience in the above manufacturing processes

    •Must have the ability to be certified to applicable NASA and IPC J-Std processes as they apply to hand soldering and harness assembly operations

    **Preferred Qualifications:**

    •The candidate must work well alone and within a team environment.

    •Must possess good problem solving skills, organizational skills, communication skills, and work with limited supervision.

    •Must be a self-starter, must be self-motivated, and a team player.

    •Familiarization with ESD, FOD, 5S, and Tool Control highly preferred
