Role Summary:The Quality Manager will lead the Quality function across the Plant from ITO to OTR execution processes & their associated functions such as Tendering, R&D / Technology Engineering, Projects /fulfillment, Requisition engineering, manufacturing, testing, etc…, erection and commissioning. You will be reporting to the Plant Manager, functionally to the Product Line Quality leader.
Essential Responsibilities:As the Quality Manager, you will:
+ Define the Plant Quality roadmap and priorities to maximize process, product efficiency & service across ITO to OTR (including ITO/tendering Quality, projects / fulfillment, R&D / technology engineering, supply chain, erection & commissioning, etc..).
+ Ensure the overall Plant management commitment around Quality policy, processes and actions (containment, curative, preventive)
+ Initiate, monitor Quality performance indicators and drive improvement plan associated
+ Lead and deploy continuous improvement & quality mindset: discipline, reliability, predictability, transparency, sense of detail & data, and do right the first time, PDCA, root cause analysis (e.g. 8D, D&PFMEA, etc.)
+ Support, lead the “stop the work” if quality or safety is at risk within whole plant
+ Monitor Customer Satisfaction performance through Relationship, Transactional Surveys and ACT (Complaints management process & tool)
+ Ensure that metrics and feedback from Customers and complaint management (ACT) are properly analyzed to identify major contributors to dissatisfaction, deviations, root causes, to build and follow up action plan
+ Lead and coordinate the internal stakeholders to ensure customer satisfaction, whilst protecting company interests (liabilities, responsibilities, warranties, claim, accrual, risk management)
+ Act as a facilitator to support customer requirements fulfillment to avoid any cash-in and overdues issues
+ Harmonize and standardize the Quality Assurance & control processes and documentation across the PLANT, support and monitor certification processes
+ Audit plant Quality and Project Delivery processes, identify gaps and deviations, and ensure the launch of corrective actions
+ Provide quality expertise for product industrialization
+ Customer Voice inputs (Functional value streams, 3P, customers tech requirements), Product FMEA, NPI Design reviews
+ Design gap / risks analysis, customer deliverables / project execution, problem solving
+ Ensure that the selected suppliers and parts supplied meet quality requirements
+ Support Transfer of Work activities (processes alignment & qualifications) in case of needs
+ Lead and manage the quality and continuous improvement team to ensure performance standards, annual objectives, policies and procedures are met
+ Hire, train, evaluate and develop people in the team
+ Ensure the team has the right level of know-how and competency to perform their responsibilities through coaching and development
+ Develop best practices
+ Regularly manage and review performance of employees
+ Bachelor's Degree
+ Minimum of 5 years of experience in leading Quality teams within production / industrial environment
+ 6 Sigma Black Belt
+ Trained in 8D and Root Cause Analysis methodologies
+ Fluency with the English language
+ Knowledge of lean principles
+ Demonstrates ability to lead continuous improvement actions with strong portfolio and project management
+ Knowledge of ISO 9001 philosophy and principles
+ Ability to analyze processes and drive process re-engineering for a higher performance
+ Ability to drill down into causal analysis to identify root causes of non-quality
+ Ability to seek customer needs to guide any improvement initiative
+ Self-directed with the ability to work independently in a matrix organization
+ Strong interpersonal / persuasion skills with the ability to communicate to all levels of the Business
+ Demonstrates a high degree of personal and professional integrity
