    Texas Instruments and the LDO product line is seeking a well-qualified candidate to join our team as an Engineering Technician in the organization’s Application & Validation Engineering team. You will be responsible for providing technical support of engineering activities such as validation, test and qualification of new products and sustaining activities. You will conduct engineering tests and detailed experiments, collecting data from validation and production test platforms and you will assist in data analysis once data is collected. Excellent debug skills will be used to evaluate test functionality on test equipment and PCBs. The environment is dynamic, fast paced and rewarding as we work to validate/qualify newly designed LDO’s and help customers address the technical challenges their applications may present.

    Daily tasks are diverse and will include the following:

    + Working closely with cross-functional teams including Design, Validation, Systems, Marketing and Apps to help release new products

    + Providing data and data analysis in order to facilitate the release of new products.

    + Design and assembly of test hardware

    + Generating customer sample units to help win key customer business

    + Testing qualification units and submitting them for reliability testing

    This position is responsible for managing the food safety and quality risks for produce, at the field level.     ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    - Further develop, evolve field food safety and quality assessment criteria and programs. Creating alignment in approach across multiple regional entities.

    - Collaborates with all existing vendors within the category to maintain product specifications, at the field level, for branded products to ensure consistent adherence to food safety and quality requirements. This requires teaming up with the category management team to hold suppliers accountable to US Foods requirements.

    - Conducts vendor facility risk assessments both through reviewing documentation and by conducting fresh produce food safety inspections/audits at the farm, packhouse, and facility level, with the ability to cohesively summarize and evaluate inspection and audit findings.

    - Technical expert in produce, across multiple commodities to include; critical to quality attributes, applicable state laws, processing techniques, environmental monitoring and general microbiology.

    - Develop and train direct reports on all aspects of food safety and quality initiatives.

    - Actively manages supplier, customer and internal feedback to move US Foods to a proactive/predictive state in managing product quality and driving continuous improvement.

    - Analyze complaint and product evaluation data to identify trends and opportunities with products and vendors to drive continuous improvement.
