    + Manage projects, plans, provide and gather specifications, and execute assignments in a multidisciplinary engineering Commissioning role for large facility projects.

    Qualifications:

    The College of Engineering at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University in Prescott, Arizona invited applications for a tenure track position in our Mechanical Engineering Department at the Assistant or Associate Professor levels, to start as early as Spring 2020 semester. The Department is interested in candidates in all areas that enhance our college strengths and growth. Of particular interest area are applicants with experience in robotics include a strong background in kinematics and manipulator dynamics. A background in mobile robotics is also desirable.

    The Department also seeks candidates with strong interests in engineering education, a commitment to excellence in teaching and learning, an ability to perform applied research, as well as dedication to service and collegiality. Successful candidates will be expected to teach undergraduate courses, to develop laboratory experiments, to collaborate with students on independent research and to supervise student projects.

    The College of Engineering is focused on undergraduate teaching excellence and has a strong emphasis on design and project-based learning. The faculty of the Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University College of Engineering are housed in a modern academic complex, which is adjacent to wind tunnel and propulsion laboratories and facilities. The College of Engineering faculty also make extensive use of the Aerospace Experimentation and Fabrication (AXFAB) laboratory complex, which features a modern machine shop, a space system laboratory, structures and material laboratories.     An earned doctorate in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering or similar degree along with related experience is highly desired; however, candidates with a Master's Degree and significant industry experience are strongly encouraged to apply.
