    **The Role**

GRASS is an interdisciplinary team of quantitative scientists that aims to deliver research and innovation to protect the people using our products, improve strategic decision making and provide meaningful product experiences. The team works closely with various product groups throughout Facebook, bringing expertise in modeling, statistical methodology, model evaluation, algorithms, machine learning, exploratory data analysis, and social network analysis. We help these teams better understand how people use their products, and we solve hard problems that will enable these products to better serve and protect their users.
