**About the role and what** **you’ll** **be doing:**

The Senior Mainframe Systems Programmer for Hardware Run will be responsible for the ongoing support for all mainframe hardware including trouble shooting, problem resolution, and maintenance.

Key Areas of Focus for this Role

+ Proactively maintain hardware on current microcode levels.

+ Support new client business transitions/migrations.

+ Perform DASD/TAPE replication using different technology.

+ Configure Storage and Processor as needed. Such as DASD Model Conversion, Updating MSUs etc.

+ Participation in problem resolution on Sev1/Sev2 Incidents.

+ Assist with DR activities.

+ Troubleshoots major system issues and escalation to vendors for service restoration and problem resolution for SEV1 and SEV2 issues.

+ Create new tools and processes to increase the productivity and efficiency of the team.

+ Works to produce documentation, standard way of accomplishing work, and automation to help the team support the workload.

+ Works closely with accounts and clients when technical consulting is required from the team.

+ Performs ITIL tasks. Such as change management functions: ticketing, opening and closing changes, etc.

+ Supply 24×7 365 on-call support/service restoration/root cause analysis/problem resolution.

+ Excels in a leveraged support model thereby supporting many customers from a single team.

+ Mentoring of team members when required.

+ Minimum of 10 years of related experience.

+ Experience in Hardware Management Consoles for different Mainframe Hardware such as Processor, DISK and TAPE.

+ Knowledge in DISK and TAPE Architecture.

+ Extensive Knowledge in IOCP/IOCDS/IODF.

+ Experience in IBM’s Copy Service Manager.

+ Knowledge in VTAM/TCPIP concepts.

+ Ability to diagnose and handle common hardware issues and resolve them promptly.

+ Ability to analyze performance on DASD and Tape subsystems.

**PAY RANGE**

The Target Pay Range for this position is $178,900-$218,400 annually. The full Pay Range is $138,800-$258,500 annually. At BECU, compensation decisions are determined using factors such as relevant job-related skills, experience, and education or training. Should an offer for employment be made, we will consider individual qualifications. In addition to your salary, compensation incentives are available for the hired applicant. Incentives are performance based and targets vary by role.

**Job Description**

Join Intel IT as a Software Development Engineer! The IT Software Development Engineer designs, develops, tests, and debugs software applications used by end-users or integrated with other applications by ISVs. Development may span the full application stack including both frontend and backend application development.

Other responsibilities include but are not limited to:

+ Uses modern software development methodologies and programming languages, follows secure coding practices and software legal compliance guidelines, analyzes user stories, writes both functional and test code, automates build and deployment, and performs unit integration and end-to-end testing of applications.

+ Completes SDL tasks with the assistance of product security engineers and provides input to technical writers to complete product documentation and procedures for installation and maintenance.

+ May also interact with end users to define system requirements and/or necessary modifications.

**Qualifications**

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.

**Minimum Qualifications**

The candidate must have a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering or Computer Science and 9+ years of experience -OR- a Master's degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering or Computer Science and 6+ years of experience -OR- a PhD in Electrical/Computer Engineering or Computer Science and 4+ years of experience in:

+ Supply Chain IT Systems and Tools.

+ Production Order Biz Process and Tools on SAP ECC and/or S4.

+ SAP/ECC and or/S4 Integration with internal and external manufacturing systems including Subcon systems.

+ Inventory and Warehouse Management Biz Process and Tools on SAP ECC and/or S4.

+ Analyze the Biz process and articulate the To-Be process and translate the Biz process into Technical Requirements.

+ Agile Methodology of Software Development.

**Preferred Qualifications**

+ Technical programming development experience in SAP ECC and/or S4.

+ ABAP, Fiori, SAPUI5, IDOC, Webdynpro and Proxy - Web Services.

+ SAP Forms - Smartform, SAP Script and Dialog Programming.

+ SAP Process Orchestration (PI/PO).

+ SAP Gateway development.

Annual Salary Range for jobs which could be performed in US, Colorado, New York, Washington, California: $162,041.00-$259,425.00

*Salary range dependent on a number of factors including location and experience

**Working Model**

This role is available as a fully home-based and generally would require you to attend Intel sites only occasionally based on business need. This role may also be available as our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site. **In certain circumstances the work model may change to accommodate business needs.**
