Summary Securing Travel, Protecting People - At the Transportation Security Administration, you will serve in a high-stakes environment to safeguard the American way of life. In cities across the country, you would secure airports, seaports, railroads, highways, and/or public transit systems, thus protecting America's transportation infrastructure and ensuring freedom of movement for people and commerce. Responsibilities This Master Transportation Security Officer - Security Training Instructor position is located at Yuma International Airport (NYL), Transportation Security Administration, Department of Homeland Security (DHS). As a Master Transportation Security Officer (MTSO), you will support the airport training program through performance of a variety of training-related functions. In addition to training program responsibilities, you will also perform pre-board security screening of persons, cargo, carry-on, and checked baggage as directed by the Federal Security Director (FSD), or his/her designee, a minimum of 20% of the time. Duties include but are not limited to: Performing training instruction within established guidelines and standards in support of nationally developed training programs (e.g., new hire training, On-Screen Alarm Resolution Protocol, Crossover); supporting recurrent training needs, and conducting return to duty and remediation training. Adapting/developing local training materials to meet requirements; conducting local training in accordance with training standards; assisting with the training department administrative support (e.g., Online Learning Center (OLC) entry, training resource room facilitation, roster management, conducting testing, and ensuring evaluations are done); assisting with training logistics support components (e.g., coordinating needed supplies and materials); managing classroom dynamics; resolving routine classroom problems; monitoring and evaluating training and providing feedback on needed adjustments; recommending enhancements; and maintaining communication with management and supervisors concerning issues with training that may reveal security-screening weaknesses or vulnerabilities. As directed, providing mentoring/coaching to address identified training needs. Administering and scoring training tests (e.g., job knowledge, image). Assisting with PASS Practical Skills Observations (PSOs) and conducting Level 3 Assessments, as needed. NOTE: Employees must maintain all screening certification requirements and perform screening functions (passenger, baggage, or both) a minimum of 20% of the time. Emergency Essential Position: This position is designated as an Emergency Essential (EE) position. This designation requires the employee to remain in a duty status if an emergency arises. NOTE: Employees occupying frontline positions, i.e., individuals performing security screening operations and occupying positions that involve contact with the traveling public on a regular and recurring basis, are required to wear TSA approved and issued personal protective equipment (PPE). This requirement is in place to address the COVID-19 pandemic and comply with Executive Order 13991 and TSA's Pandemic and Emerging Infectious Disease and Workforce Protection Plan. PPE includes TSA issued surgical masks, face shields, and nitrile gloves. At TSA, the health and safety of our employees is a top priority. Requirements Conditions of Employment Possess U.S. Citizenship or be a U.S. National. Be at least 18 years of age at the time of application. Complete a favorable Background Investigation (BI). Must meet and maintain medical requirements for screening work (including a medical examination and physical abilities assessment) including, but not limited to, the following: Be able to efficiently and thoroughly manipulate and lift baggage, containers, and other objects subject to security processing Be able to repeatedly lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds Be able to maintain physical agility that would allow you to squat, bend, and lean to inspect individuals and baggage/cargo Be able to maintain the ability to walk up to two miles during a shift and stand for prolonged periods (e.g., 3-4 hours) of time Be able to maintain a measured threshold for sight: Distance vision correctable to 20/30 or better in the best eye and 20/100 or better in worst eye. Near vision correctable to 20/40 or better Snellen binocular Maintain a measured threshold for hearing: Average hearing loss of 25 decibels (ANSI) at 500, 1000, 2000, and 3000 Hz in each ear. No greater than 45 decibels at 4000 and 6000 Hz in each ear Be able to distinguish principal colors that will be a part of images displayed on automated screens: Color perception (e.g., red, green, blue, yellow, orange, purple, brown, black, white, gray). Note: Color filters for enhancing color discrimination are prohibited. AND At least one calendar year of experience (either full-time or part-time) functioning as a TSO equivalent at the D band level or above AND Six months of specialized experience equivalent to at least the D band level or above which included utilizing instructional methods to provide formal training or to teach others in prescribed or designated subjects or areas. Such experience may have been gained as a TSA Assistant Training Instructor (ATI) or in any other training/educational setting where instructional methods were utilized on a regular basis to teach/train in a classroom, laboratory, group, or on-the-job setting. Other examples of specialized experience include, but are not limited to the following: Providing instructional guidance for conducting screening (e.g., x-ray, security, industry) or related collateral duties (e.g., OJT Coach). Teaching or instructing in an educational program: Primary/secondary school or undergraduate/graduate (college/university); military installation/academy, or industry establishment. Establishing or developing training/course materials, aids and devices and evaluation of training results. Credit for experience is given based on a 40-hour workweek. Part-time experience is credited on a part-time ratio, i.e., working 20 hours per week for two months equals one month of experience. No additional credit is given for overtime. NOTE: In order to be properly credited, any experience gained through assigned collateral duties or special assignment detail should be documented in the resume by indicating the period of time, i.e., the beginning date and the ending date, as well as the percentage of time performing the duties. For example: "Collateral Duty: Assistant Training Instructor (ATI) from Jan 2013 to Oct 2014 - 15 hours per week." National Service Experience (i.e., volunteer experience): Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). Responsibilities:

Responsibilities include equipping students with the required skill set, facilitating classroom discussions, assessing student performance, and preparing students to be successful leaders in their chosen profession. Other main responsibilities include the following:

+ Reading/Literacy specialist candidates survey instructional approaches and materials that support student learning in reading and writing. This survey prepares the reading/literacy specialist candidates to design an integrated, comprehensive, and balanced curriculum.

+ Provide a positive example to students by supporting the University’s Doctrinal Statement, Ethical Position Statement and Mission of Grand Canyon University.

Qualifications:

+ Preferred: Doctorate in Curriculum and Instruction or Doctorate in Instructional Leadership or Doctorate in Learning and Teaching or Doctorate in Teaching Innovation or Doctorate in Literacy or Doctorate in Reading or related field AND valid state teacher certification.

+ Minimum: Masters in Reading or Masters in Literacy or Masters in Curriculum in Instruction or related field AND a valid state teacher certification in literacy/reading or a valid state teacher certification in secondary education with an endorsement in literacy/reading or secondary literacy/reading AND exceptional expertise to include a minimum of two items from the following criteria: 1. Is enrolled in a terminal/doctoral degree program with a minimum of 18 credits successfully completed. 2. Has minimum of 4 years’ experience as a board member on two or more boards related to content areas. 3. Has been recognized with two or more awards for their expertise in content area. 4. Has over 3 publications in peer reviewed journals within the last 7 years. 5. Holds a minimum of 4 years experience in leadership position within their respective professional association. 6. Have a minimum of 10 years of work experience in the field for which they would be assigned a course. 7. Hold certifications in their respective content area above and beyond degree credentials. 8. Holds or has held a position as a director or higher in the work setting for a minimum of 8 years in the area related to the course.

+ All instructors must have a minimum of three years of elementary experience as a classroom teacher or reading specialist or literacy curriculum coach or Title One reading teacher or RTI interventionist or related position AND at least six graduate level credit hours related to elementary literacy or reading or elementary content area literacy or equivalent content.

This position includes leading a small group of individuals through a meaningful day at our Adult Day Program in Tempe (~Broadway Rd. and Priest Dr.). Job responsibilities also include monthly calendar planning, motivational teaching/coaching Life and Social skills, community outings, and record keeping.

Group Instructor shift hours are Monday through Friday from 8:30 AM - 3:30 PM, with ~2 days of transporting members to and from the program using a company vehicle (roughly 2 hours per transportation shift)-No CDL is required.

The QRC Airborne ISR Systems Division of the Airborne Solutions Group of Leidos currently has an opening for a **UH-60A/L/M Blackhawk Instructor Pilot** supporting the Army National Guard (ANG) Aviation Training Services and Operational Support (ATSOS) program in **Marana, AZ** . Leidos is the prime contractor providing flight training, simulation training, classroom instruction and schoolhouse support activities including the One Army School System (OASS) integration, and Aviation Life Support Equipment (ALSE) maintenance for platforms and simulation devices in use or anticipated to be in use by the Army National Guard.

This indvidual will join our team in support of AATS assigned UH-60 A/L and M, UH-72A, and CH-47F aircraft and instructor qualification courses, readiness level progressions, regional and foreign military training. The selected Instructor Pilots will conduct associated Instructor Operator tasks and platform academic instruction in support of the AATS student training mission. Candidates will accomplish all training in accordance with AR 95-1, TRADOC Programs of Instruction (POI), CH-47 UH-60 / UH-72 dATM and local AATS SOPs. All contractor Instructor Pilots will adhere to prescribed requirements IAW DCMA INST 8210-1C. This is an exciting opportunity to use your experience supporting the ATSOS program.

**Primary Responsibilities:**

+ Maintain training records on formal course students and in ATP records as required for unit, readiness level (RL) progression trainees.

+ Provide instruction and evaluation to student pilots IAW Training Support Packages for AATS approved courses of instruction.

+ Conduct daily academic instruction of approved POI (Aircraft Qualification Course, Instructor Pilot Course, Aircraft Standardization Course, Maintenance Test Pilot Course).

+ Facilitate pre-mission planning and after-action reviews for all flights and simulation periods conducted.

+ Complete all aircrew training program (ATP) requirements IAW DCMA INST 8210-1C, AR 95-1, and the applicable dATM. Contract pilot shall participate in No-notice evaluation program.

+ Coordinate daily tasks and requirements (examples are work schedules, leaves, etc.) of contract employees to meet AATS missioned training requirements and schoolhouse accreditation as directed by AATS chains of command.

+ Responsible for compliance with appropriate Army, National Guard and AATS policies, procedures and regulations.

+ Coordinate with the GFR to ensure all contractors are qualified to perform aviation-training tasks IAW DCMA INST 8210.1D

+ Report Instructor Flight and Operation data in the Task Order Monthly Report.

**Basic Qualifications:**

+ High School Diploma or equivalent and 8 years' experience; or a Bachelors Degree and 4 years’ experience; or a Masters degree and 2 years' experience

+ Instructor Pilot experience with minimum of 250 military IP Flight Hours and/or 2 yrs IP experience at any USAACE approved or OASS accredited program. Flight time and operational experience, will be considered to meet experience stated above based on a records review by the GFR IAW DCMA INST 8210-1C.

+ USAACE/AATS (or equivalent Army approved NET) qualified IP in type aircraft for which duties will be performed.

+ Instructor Training Course (ITC) or ABIC qualified; or successfully graduate from a AATS provided ABIC course within 12 months of contractor employee start date.

+ FAA Commercial Pilot or Airline Transport Pilot Certificate.

+ FAA Second Class flight physical required. Army Contractor pilots have the option of maintaining either an annual FAA Second Class Medical Certificate or an Army Class 2 FDME (DCMA 8210.1C, para 4.3.5.1.2).

+ Experience as an SP, IE and/or IP in a OASS school, MTOE or TDA organization at the company and/or battalion level.

+ Instrument Flight Examiners (IE), Standardization Instructor Pilots (SP), Instructor Pilots (IP), and Maintenance Evaluators (ME) designations apply only to contractor pilots (Army) contracted for the sole purpose of conducting aircraft qualification training and administration of the Aircrew Training Program (ATP). Contractor pilots in these designated positions shall meet all Army initial aircraft qualifications and recurrent training requirements per AR 95-1 and the applicable aircraft Digital Aircrew Training Module (dATM) (DCMA 8210.1C, para 4.3.4.3).

+ Must meet instructor qualification requirements IAW TR 350-10, TR 350-70.

+ Contractors performing flight operations in the role of Rated Crewmember (Instructor Pilot, Instrument Flight Examiner, Standardization Instructor Pilot, Maintenance Test Pilot, Functional Check Pilot) or Non-Rated Crewmember (Flight Engineer Instructor, Flight Instructor, Crew Chief) shall adhere to minimum qualifications as prescribed by DCMA INST 8210.1C.

+ All contractor Rated Crewmembers and Non-Rated Crewmembers will receive ACT-E qualification and sustainment training IAW TC 3-04.11.

+ Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret level security clearance; an interim Secret level security clearance is acceptable to begin work.

**Preferred Qualifications:**

+ Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite Products.

+ IP experience at EAATS, HAATS, WAATS or U.S. Army Aviation Training Center.

+ Desired USAACE qualified Instrument Flight Examiner (IFE).

HealthFitness is looking for a Group Class Instructor to join the team at our client site located in Phoenix, AZ. Client site is near the Deer Valley Towne Center. In this position you will provide fun, effective and safe group exercise to members participating in the program such as kickboxing, Barre, Pilates, step, boot camp, and total body conditioning. HOURS, COMPENSATION, LOCATION:

We are looking for you to teach 4-5 parties per month, typically on Weekends. DivaDance brings our classes into existing facilities - we do not have our own physical location. Most of our parties are held at a Scottsdale dance studio. Compensation starts at $40 per party. Tips are 18% gratuity, at the event planner's discretion.

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

You MUST have experience teaching and choreographing for adults. Bonus points for former dance team/drill team/cheerleaders.
