**GENERAL SUMMARY: Under close supervision, coordinates daily production for the production area including performing highly routine and repetitive production activities where work is of a machine loading and tending nature such as assembling and post-processing of inflators.**

**ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:**

+ Coordinates daily production activities.

+ Assures efficient start-up/end-of-shift/changeover.

+ Loads materials which may include items such as diffusers, initiators, disk, support barrels, retainers, end caps, shorting clips, and canisters; unloads product from production equipment.

+ May check, correct or perform rework of inflators.

+ May perform electrical tests on inflators on an as needed basis.

+ Perform quality procedures/audits including dimensional and weld checks as required.

+ Performs visual inspection of completed inflators.

+ Performs traceability activities to ensure accurate tracking of product/materials.

+ Performs general housekeeping duties in work area.

+ Performs TPM maintenance.

+ Operates drillout machine and dispose of scrap.

+ Stocks materials within production areas on an as needed basis; transports assemblies to next manufacturing area.

+ Identifies and is first line in notification of abnormal conditions –Accountability Board to track and raise red flags.

+ Reviews standardized work

+ Identifies and raises Quality issues

+ Identifies and raises Safety issues

+ Monitors material flow to raise efficiency issues as needed

+ Searches for improvement suggestions to implement from observation of process and operators.

+ May operate forklift.

Ability:

Knowledge of manufacturing, rework and preventive maintenance instructions. Must be able to be forklift certified. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability to effectively direct the work of people. Strong ability to coordinate and plan.

Education:

High School Diploma or GED required.

Experience:

6 months - 3 years manufacturing experience preferred.

Job Description

Provides guidance to teams of photographers. Mentors newer and less experienced employees. Schedules work assignments and equipment. Uses advanced special-purpose cameras and related equipment for assignments, in which the photographer determines the technical decisions. Responsible for the implementation of a multiple camera array operation. Some assignments are characterized by extremes in light values, and the use of complicated equipment. Candidate improvises photographic methods and techniques with lighting, background, exposure, and stop action. Types of equipment used at this level are: Digital Single Lens Reflex (DSLR) cameras, fixed and adjustable focal length lenses, artificial illumination, video cameras, recorders, timing inserters, computers and monitors. Photographs are taken to document events; photos are then processed, uploaded to network storage and copied to media, as required. Operates and monitors still photo and video capturing and recording equipment at test sites or in fixed wing aircraft or helicopters while in flight. Performs operator maintenance on equipment. The Production Assistant Manager, Manufacturing is required to lead production in the Manufacturing Plant. Additionally, the Production Assistant Manager will assist the Operations Manager(s) and/or Senior/Plant Manager with all areas of plant business to include, decision making regarding customers, team members, operational issues, business planning, priority setting, creating staff schedules, team member performance, and compliance with company policies. The Production Assistant Manager, Manufacturing is also required, as needed, to perform all functions performed by the Production Operator, Manufacturing and Production Lead Coordinator, Manufacturing.

As a Production Technician, youre a member of a production crew, reporting to a supervisor of an assigned production area. The Glendale plant is high-volume, fast-paced 24/7-365 days/year manufacturing environment. Our crews work 12 - hour shifts (6am-6pm/6pm-6am) working 4 days on/4 days off and rotating from day to night shift every 32 days.

**Your Key Responsibilities Include:**

+ Follow all 5S standards and job safety practices and policies including but not limited to food safety; personal protective equipment; emergency procedures, etc.

+ Operate, adjust, and repair high-speed production equipment to meet plant production goals.

+ Assist with performing preventative maintenance on assigned equipment.

+ Inspect aluminium for proper quality standards and customer specifications.

+ Build positive relationships across designated team by effectively collaborating, communicating, and upholding ethical integrity.

**Required Experience and Skills:**

+ High School Diploma or equivalent education.

+ 1-year minimum experience in a mechanical job-related field with demonstrated mechanical troubleshooting skills.

Qualifications

We are looking for an energetic person that enjoys production work, problem solving and digital design. The perfect person will have a strong sense of organization, attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Printing items without error. Responsible for the timely, qualitative completion of basic order fulfillment. Ensures that assigned Direct to Film (DTF) and digital production functions are conducted in accordance with established policies and procedures, that quality and productivity standards are met or exceeded, and that related documentation is accurate and complete.

+ Assumes responsibility for the accurate and timely completion of direct to garment functions.

+ Operates direct to film equipment according to specifications listed on written/printed orders; matches customer orders to materials in terms of style, color, and size.

+ Flexibility to rotate between departments and jobs on an as-needed basis.

+ Organizing orders daily into top priorities.

+ Updating templates using Adobe Illustrator with names, dates, and colors according to notes on orders.

+ Runs, adjusts, and troubleshoots production equipment and machinery.

+ Assumes responsibility for establishing and maintaining good communications, coordination, and working relations with Company personnel and management.

+ Be a team player by assisting and supporting other coworkers as needed.

+ Keeps management informed of area activities and of any significant concerns. Identifies problems and provides suggestions.

+ Must be able to perform production satisfactorily in accordance with company productivity and quality requirements.

+ Must be able to work at a fast pace, experiment, and show a level of independent creativity.

+ Assumes responsibility for ensuring that DTF functions are completed in accordance with Company policies and procedures.

+ Follow established quality and safety standards.

+ Meets deadlines.

+ Inspects work upon completion.

+ Assumes responsibility for related duties as required or assigned. Ensures that work area is clean, secure, and well maintained.

+ Works with fellow machine operators in a fast-paced environment and learns to operate machines self-sufficiently.
