    POSITION SUMMARY

    The affiliated dental hygienist performs professional dental care in the field of dental hygiene including all related clinical procedures. The affiliated dental hygienist will assist the doctor in promoting dental health by completing dental prophylaxis; providing oral cancer screening, radiographic studies; charting conditions of decay and disease; performing procedures in compliance with the dental practice act.     We are seeking a Dental Hygienist for a full time, day shift position in Casa Grande, AZ, situated approximately halfway between Phoenix and Tucson!

    EDUCATION/ EXPERIENCE:


    * High School diploma or equivalency.
    * Graduate of an accredited school of dental hygiene.
    * Current valid Arizona license to practice oral hygiene.
    * X-Ray Certification.
    * Arizona Anesthesia license.
    * Must have a minimum 5 years of dental hygiene experience.

    ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:


    * Provide dental screenings and apply fluoride varnish when necessary to patients in a Medical environment.
    * Must provide age and or relevant health appropriate education to patients or their legal guardians.
    * Maintain effective outreach and dental appointment scheduling.
    * Participate in community events.
    * Ability to multitask and work independently.
