There are a variety of career opportunities in many different industries, including government, public or non-profit organizations at the local, state or federal levels.
Administration of Justice
The Administration of Justice AAS program is designed to prepare students to enter the workforce in the criminal justice arena. This program teaches students specific knowledge and skills, which will assist in securing employment in a wide variety of law enforcement and corrections/juvenile detention positions.

Fire Science
Designed to prepare students with the knowledge, skills, and abilities (KSA’s) to enter the Fire Service. Successful completion of the program also provides the student with an opportunity to obtain Arizona state certifications for Hazardous Materials Awareness and Operations and Fire Fighter I and II along with National Wildfire Coordinating Group certificates for: S-130, S-190, L-180, I-CS-100, and IS-700.

Detention Academy
The Coconino Community College Basic Detention Academy is designed to provide entry-level training to detention/corrections officer staff, meeting Arizona Detention Association standards.

These degrees provide a foundation of general education, along with courses chosen to help fulfill lower-division baccalaureate requirements.
