The primary purpose of this position is: To serve as a Security Specialist, providing information, industrial, training, and physical security program functions in support of the organization. The organizational location of this position is: Air Combat Command (ACC), 12th Air Force (AF), Director of Intelligence (A2S), Air Forces Southern (AFSOUTH), Davis-Monthan Air Force Base, Arizona.
Administers the SCI Physical Security Program.
Assists in the Administration the SCI Information Security Program.
Assists in the Management of the SCI Industrial Security Program.
Assists in implementing security education and motivation programs.

In order to qualify, you must meet the specialized experience requirements described in the Office of Personnel Management (OPM) Qualification Standards for General Schedule Positions, Administrative and Management Positions. ***Salary Ranges includes local market supplement*** This is a GG-11 position in the Defense Civilian Intelligence Personnel System (DCIPS). The GG-11 duties for the "Professional" work category are at the "Full Performance" work level and are equivalent to those at the GS-11 level. The selectee's salary will be set within the grade equivalent to a GS/GG grade based on the selectee's qualifications in relation to the job. SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: Your resume must reflect the quality level of experience which demonstrates the possession of the knowledge, skills, abilities, and competencies necessary for successful job performance required for this position. Examples of creditable experience include: knowledge of a wide range of technical methods, principles, concepts, methods, and practices pertinent to security administration as well as skill in applying this knowledge to such assignments as the design and planning of difficult, but well-precedented projects. Note: Creditable experience may include previous military experience, experience gained in the private sector, or experienced gained in another government agency. OR
EDUCATION: Successfully completed a Ph.D or equivalent doctoral degree or 3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree in a field which demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to perform the work of the position. COMBINATION OF EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION: Have less than the full amount of specialized experience required but have more than 2 years of graduate level education with a major or subject area related to the position to be filled.
