What is SIPPS?

“Slab in Place Processing” (SIPPS) is an innovative process, created by ProTex that moisture conditions foundation-bearing soils to a specified depth. It eliminates the need to add additional days to the production schedule to recertify Pads before pouring a foundation; and provides Pad Certification for sites that require moisture to depths greater than 12 inches.

Your Role as a SIPPS Crew Member

+ Reports to the SIPPS Supervisor

+ Install, maintain/repair and remove SIPPS systems at a residential construction site.

+ Components include – Poly Pipe and a Back Flow connected to a water source.

Work Experience

+ No experience required – We will train you!

+ Knowledge of standard practices, materials and equipment is helpful.

+ Trenching shovel, basic plumbing, hand auger.

+ Ability to maintain an effective working relationship with co-workers and supervisor.

+ Ability to understand and follow written and oral instructions.

+ Ability to work outdoors, during the day, in the hot Arizona climate.

Physical Requirements

+ Balancing, Stooping, Kneeling, Crouching, Reaching, Standing, Walking, Pushing, Pulling, Lifting, Grasping, Feeling, Talking, Hearing and Repetitive Motions.

+ Able to exert up to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 20 pounds of force frequently, and up to 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects.

+ Must possess the visual acuity to operate equipment, motor vehicles, perform trades tasks, inspect and review work for accuracy, neatness and thoroughness.

Additional Requirements for Crew Member/Driver

+ To drive a ProTex company truck you must have Valid Arizona Driver’s License and a clean driving record

Work Schedule:

Monday - Friday, 6:30 AM to 3 PM - 40hrs/week (may start earlier for summer heat)

Specific Job Duties and Qualifications:

General Laborer

Hunter Contracting is seeking General Laborer to assist construction crews with various duties.

Responsible for:

+ Cleaning or preparing construction site to eliminate hazards.

+ Demolishing and/or placing construction materials.

+ Measuring, marking or recording layout areas for construction.

+ Signaling equipment operators to align and adjust machinery.
