The Public Relations and Creative Marketing (PRCM) Team is seeking an Account Executive, Corporate Relations to support the development and execution of marketing plans and tactics for firm recruiting initiatives. This role will work closely with team leadership and our internal staff of designers, printers, web developers, and videographers to fulfill the strategic marketing plans designed to meet and exceed our business development goals. You will have an integral hand in the continued growth of our company and a singular focus on the financial professional recruitment experience as Account Executive, Corporate Relations.
With the corporate campus in Fairfield, Iowa and an Atlanta, Georgia location, Cambridge has added an office location in the Phoenix, Arizona metro area as part of its growth initiatives. The Phoenix location is focused on enhancing our service and recruiting presence in the western half of the U.S. while establishing additional backup systems. We also plan to leverage experience and talent available in the Phoenix metro area regarding financial services, technology, marketing, and other key business expertise.
Consult and collaborate with Business Development Team and PRCM leadership on recruitment marketing initiatives and projects, including marketing plans, content creation, collateral development, website editing, design projects, and more
Write and/or edit engaging content for cold and warm leads, leading them to action along all stages of the marketing and sales funnel
Work side by side with multimedia design and web development teams to develop a wide variety of marketing collateral for print and digital use, including brochures, direct mail, e-blasts, landing pages, videos, and more
Manage multiple projects with tight deadlines via a project queue while providing prompt, courteous service to internal clients and team members
Evaluate marketing requests against firm resources, priorities, and branding guidelines, providing alternative suggestions or ideas as needed
Gather accurate feedback from clients and clearly communicate that feedback to team members – including needs, perceptions, comments, goals, non-negotiables, etc.
Maintain working knowledge of firm competitors and industry trends, as well as internal firm initiatives and solutions
Think outside the box to deliver the best possible marketing and communication experience to prospective Cambridge financial professionals
Our PRCM team highlights Cambridge’s innovation and market leadership through activities that include engagement with news media nationally, regionally, and locally, as well as initiatives related to strategic sponsorships, creative marketing, corporate communications, and social media as we bring to life Cambridge’s culture, brand, and solutions. We operate as a full-service, in-house agency while delivering a broad range of solutions in print, digital, audio, and video format.
Every day, we are brainstorming, planning, and executing projects focused on engaging audiences and moving them to action. We manage and coordinate a marketing and public relations portfolio of efforts across the firm’s digital and print landscapes that include websites, social media, advertising, and marketing.

Education & Experience
Bachelor’s degree from four-year college or university in marketing, business, journalism, communications, public relations, or similar field of study; one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
1-2 years of hands-on experience successfully managing multiple marketing projects with varied deadlines
Advanced verbal and written communication skills – able to relay information and complex concepts in a way that is easy to understand
Experience writing persuasive, engaging promotional and informational content across multiple channels, including print, digital, and video (with examples)
Interest and desire to dig deeper into assignments to discover the purpose and need of the request, and offer suggestions for improvements. Expert critical thinking skills.
Flexibility to meet changing deadlines and priorities – comfortable in a fast-moving marketing environment
Ability to deliver constructive criticism with tact and explain the “why” behind decisions, and the ability to receive and incorporate the same constructive criticism in return
Ability to work independent and self-motivate

Previous financial services experience a plus
