The Mechanical Buildings Design Group provides HVAC and plumbing solutions for Black & Veatch’s3 market sectors- Governments & Environment, Energy & Process Industries, and Connectivity & Commercial. In in this role, you will be engaged with exciting projects across the globe. **Preferred Qualifications**

Basic knowledge of the following areas:

+ NFPA standards

+ Computer generated HVAC Heatloads, energy modeling and HVAC equipment sizing

+ Technical Submittal reviewing process Bid reviewing process

+ Microsoft Office Suite

+ Bluebeam Revu

+ Person needs to be a LEED AP certified professional experienced in obtaining LEED’s certification for industrial buildings.

+ Extensive experience with large-scale water-cooled chillers is preferred.

+ International Codes Council (ICC) Suite of Codes

+ ASHRAE Handbooks / Standards

+ ASPE design handbooks

+ SMACNA Standards

**Minimum Qualifications**

Requires a bachelor's degree in engineering from either a recognized accredited program in their home country or the country in which the professional is practicing. Minimum of 8 years related work experience. All applicants must be able to complete pre-employment onboarding requirements (if selected) which may include any/all of the following: criminal/civil background check, drug screen, and motor vehicle records search, in compliance with any applicable laws and regulations.
