    Mayo Clinic’s Department of Neurosurgery, led by Bernard R. Bendok, M.D. and located in Arizona is seeking a board-certified/board-eligible Neurosurgeon with fellowship training in the discipline of minimally invasive spine and peripheral nerve surgery. This individual will join the Department of Neurosurgery in the Mayo Clinic College of Medicine, an academic tertiary care program.

    The ideal candidate has expertise in minimally invasive spine surgery, complex spinal reconstruction and peripheral nerve surgery. Candidates must have demonstrated ability to work in a multi-disciplinary environment, strong clinical communication/interpersonal skills and an interest in academic productivity.     **VP Integrated Supply Chain (ISC), Peripheral Intervention (PI)**

    This position will have overall responsibility for leading and directing all manufacturing sites under BD's Peripheral Intervention (PI) business and its associated support functions (domestic and international). This Senior Leader will be responsible for plant SQDC performance, cost improvement, customer service performance, inventory management, and the building of future talent. Additionally, in collaboration with global functions, this role has the responsibility for long-range capacity planning and long-term strategies for optimization of manufacturing operations. This role is accountable to deploy global Integrated Supply Chain strategies and to provide oversight and leadership to 8 sites globally throughout US, Switzerland, Germany, Ireland, Dominican Republic, MX, and Germany as well as Business Integrators in the PI Business Unit.

    This role will also have significant interface with manufacturing sites outside of their direct responsibility requiring significant collaboration with peers in broader PI/BD Interventional/BD enterprise.

    This role will report directly to the SVP ISC, Operational Performance with a reporting matrix to the PI BU President and participate on the PI Division Management Board and the BDI Operations leadership team.

    **ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:**

    **Strategy & Performance:**

    + Translates BU/Platforms strategy into a global Integrated Supply Chain strategy.

    + Fosters continuous improvement in safety, quality, cost, delivery, and manufacturing best practices.

    + Drives a growth mindset and lean thinking/manufacturing concepts through all manufacturing and administrative functions with a focus on improving end-to-end value streams.
