    Summary:

    Duties include but are not limited to: scheduled/unscheduled aircraft maintenance on all aircraft systems; turbofan engine, airframe, flight control/landing gear rigging, troubleshooting systems, daily/turnaround inspections, perform corrosion inspections and related treatment, washing/cleaning, servicing aircraft fuel/oil/hydraulic/oxygen/nitrogen systems, Structural repairs and component in-house repair/back shop programs.     Additional Duties:

    • Maintains EC37B aircraft in support of aircrew missions. • Launches and recovers aircraft, to include tie-down, cover, and plug removal/installation, and perform required inspections to ensure airframe structure and power plant serviceability. • Adjusts, aligns, and calibrates aircraft components. Performs functional checks of fuel, hydraulic, engines, avionics, and electro-environmental systems. • Advises supervision of deficiencies affecting aircraft airworthiness. • Performs scheduled and unscheduled inspections in accordance with Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEM) established procedures/specifications. • Prepares and maintains aircraft maintenance records and historical documents. • Monitors/reviews deficiency reports for adverse trends. • Uses applicable technical data/manuals when performing aircraft maintenance, and to troubleshoot aircraft/system discrepancies. • Performs in-progress and follow-up inspections during and upon completion of maintenance actions.     Required Education and Experience:

    Strongly prefer recent Gulfstream Global Jet, or business jet experience on civilian and military platforms including Rolls Royce turbofan experience.

    • Current FAA A&P certificate required • Must be able to work shifts as assigned and travel as part of a maintenance recovery team if required. May require lifting of objects whose weight normally will not exceed 50lbs. Special vision abilities required to perform this job are close and peripheral vision, and acceptable depth perception.

    Work Environment: The diversity of working conditions range from an environment where there is little or no physical discomfort, to an environment where inclement weather may subject the individual to severe changes in temperature, wind, rain, etc. May be required to work in areas where high noise hazards, exposure to fumes, airborne particles, and electrical shock hazards exist.

    The USMC MQ-9 CLS Technician is a highly qualified and skilled aircraft electronics and Ground Control Station technician with experience in troubleshooting multiple electronics systems both aircraft and control stations. Work may be reviewed by supervisor for general compliance with accepted practices. This position may provide technical guidance to lower-level technicians.

    **Essential Responsibilities:**

    + Must maintain assigned UAS aircraft electrical generators, load banks, starters, relays, batteries, actuators, circuit breakers, switches, and aircraft instruments.

    + Must apply advanced technical knowledge to solve complex problems that typically cannot be solved solely by referencing manufacturers’ manuals or similar documents. Examples of such problems include determining the location and density of circuitry, evaluating electromagnetic radiation, isolating malfunctions, and incorporating engineering changes.

    + Work typically requires an understanding of the interrelationships of circuits, exercising independent judgment in performing such tasks as making circuit analyses, calculating wave forms, and tracing relationships in signal flow, using complex test instruments such as high frequency pulse generators, frequency synthesizers, distortion analyzers, and complex computer control equipment.

    Essential Functions:
