As a Diesel Mechanic - Experienced (Service Tech IV), you’ll use your skills to perform maintenance and repairs of complex equipment with limited or no supervision in a highly skilled, safe, and professional manner. Heavy Diesel Truck Mechanic / Prescott Shop

Fann Contracting, Inc - Northern Arizona’s leading heavy-civil and heavy-highway contractor - is searching for an experienced Heavy Truck Mechanic to join our mechanic’s team in our Prescott shop at company headquarters! This is a full time, permanent position with great benefits in our new Prescott facility which includes a 7.5 ton Kone over-head crane spanning 6 bays, a 40,000 pound - 4 post truck lift, two exterior wash bays, a complete fuel service center, mechanic’s locker/showers and much more. $50k to $80k per year DOE

Our family-owned 63-year company specializes in mass excavation, rock handling, underground utilities, private and public infrastructure, asphalt paving, aggregate crushing, asphalt hot plant production, and much more. Basic requirements Include:

+ Should have experience driving large CDL Class vehicles.

+ Examine protective guards, loose bolts, and specified safety devices on trucks, and make adjustments as needed.

+ Tag all warranty parts and returns to warranty clerk.

+ Attend training classes and keep abreast of factory technical bulletins.

+ Develop and maintain positive relationships with customers to increase overall customer satisfaction.

Basic Qualifications:

+ High school diploma or general education degree (GED)

+ 2 years’ experience as a Class 7 & 8 technician in a dealership or related truck service facility
