    Summary:

    The Electronics Technician is a technical member of a multi-disciplinary engineering team that works at a US Government site to rapidly prototype and develop Aircrew Training Devices (ATD) and Aircrew Training Aides (ATA) for high performance aircrafts.     The schedule for this position is Monday thru Friday.

    Responsibilities:

    + Plans layout, installs, and repairs wiring, electrical fixtures, apparatus, and control equipment, such as switches, relays, and circuit-breaker panels, fastening in place with screws or bolts, using hand tools and power tools.

    + Install, maintain, modify and repair all electrical distribution systems and associated electrical equipment

    + Remain in compliance with current National Electric Code

    + Inspect and test components of electrical systems, including transformers, transfer switches and switch gears

    + Identify electrical problems with a variety of testing devices

    Candidates must be able to obtain a SECRET clearance within a reasonable amount of time from date of hire. Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
