    About the Role:Gore Medical Products has provided creative therapeutic solutions to complex medical problems for over 35 years, saving and improving the quality of lives worldwide. As a leading manufacturer of peripheral interventional, peripheral vascular, endovascular and structural heart products, we are looking for a Clinical Specialist Associate to join our Aortic and Peripheral Sales Team and cover the Western Canada Territory, which includes British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan and Manitoba.

    The ideal candidate will:


    * Be passionate about supporting state-of-the art products that are the highest quality in their class

    * Recognize the importance of building and maintaining strong interpersonal relationships

    Responsibilities include:


    * Assisting doctors in patient screening, case planning, and device selection
    * Troubleshooting problem cases
    * Providing technical support during clinical EVAR & TEVAR cases
    * Conducting in-house and field based training programs for Gore associates
    * Providing simulation based training to Surgeons, Nurses, and Vascular Surgery and Interventional Radiology Fellows
    * Providing hospital in-services to Surgeons, Nurses, and Fellows
    * Helping develop materials for doctor- and associate-training programs
    * Ability to be "on call" (potential to work nights and weekends when necessary) and up to 75% travel

    Qualifications

    Required Job Qualifications


    * Minimum of 3 years' related experience with/in one of the following:

    * Nursing or radiation technology
    * Operating room, cath. lab, or radiology/cardiology departments
    * Teaching
    * Other medical device support roles

    * Strong communication and interpersonal skills
    * Ability to:

    * Apply medical, surgical, and interventional skills and terminology
    * Be flexible in response to changing product and project commitments
    * Be available to support emergent cases in your local market
    * Adapt to frequent changes in travel schedules (e.g., to support emergency clinical cases)

    * Currently resides in the Vancouver or Calgary area
    * Current, valid driver's license

    Desired Job Qualifications


    * Degree in nursing, life sciences, education or similar experience
