    **Job Description**

    This position is hiring for all shifts.

    Manufacturing Technicians perform functions associated with all wafer production including operations, equipments, process and training. Collects and evaluates operating data to conduct on-line equipment adjustment and ensure process optimization. Responsible for running lots in a qualitative way. Also, responsible for preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, spares, and sustaining. In addition, the Manufacturing Technician is responsible for improvement processes, troubleshooting nonstandard events in the production line, and reviewing technological health and stability. The Manufacturing Technician may be responsible for the buddy, trainer, and certifier levels and is in charge of updating training manuals. May participate in safety forums and Emergency Response Team as required. Work is somewhat complex and is performed within the spectrum ranging from narrowly defined parameters and limited judgment up to highly complex and nonstandard assignments in nature and broadly defined parameters. High degree of judgment and initiative is required in resolving complex nonstandard problems and developing recommendations. Normally receives general instructions on routine work, and detailed instructions on new work.     You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Experience listed below would be obtained through a combination of your school work/classes/research and/or relevant previous job and/or internship experiences.

    Minimum Requirements:

    + This U.S. position is open to U.S. Workers Only. A U.S. Worker is someone who is either a U.S. Citizen, U.S. National, U.S. Lawful Permanent Resident, or a person granted Refugee or Asylum status by the U.S. Government. Intel will not sponsor a foreign national for this position.

    + Must be willing to work in a clean room environment, wearing coveralls, hoods, booties, safety glasses and gloves.

    + Must be willing to lift up to 25 lbs., and spend the majority of time (greater than 90% less break time) on the floor working on tool sets, walking 3-5 miles a day, and/or standing/sitting for 9 hours.

    + Candidate must be willing to work a compressed work week schedule.

    + Shift is twelve hours long and rotates from three to four days a week

    + The candidate must possess at least one of the following educational or experience requirements:

    + Associates degree in a STEM or technical program (i.e. Microelectronics, Electronic Engineering Technology, Computer Electronic Engineering Technology, avionics repair or any other related field),

    + Bachelor's degree in Engineering (STEM), Chemistry, Physics, Biology or any other related field.

    + Certification in any STEM or any other technical field of study.

    + Military Experience.

    + 3 months + of experience in a semiconductor environment.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    + Knowledge in electronics or digital circuitry.

    + Knowledge in end-user computer skills and navigation.

    + Knowledge in Schematic/wiring diagram reading.

    + Knowledge in electronic systems troubleshooting and maintenance.

    + Proven abilities with Testing, repairing and troubleshooting faulty electronic equipment down to a component using available schematics, Technical data and test equipment.

    + Knowledge in Operations, mechanics, nuclear, weapons systems and field service.

    + Experience working in a semiconductor manufacturing fab in process, equipment, operations or assembly.
