**Environmental Project Manager**

POWER Engineers, Inc. is seeking a highly motivated Environmental Project Manager to join a team of environmental consulting professionals that assists our power generation sector clients in establishing and maintaining compliance with state and federal air quality/environmental regulations. This position is based in the Austin, Texas office and is open to remote work for applicants with experience in Texas. The employee may travel to various POWER offices for periodic meetings.

**Roles and Responsibilities**

· Various aspects of project managementrelated to air quality permitting for power generation facilities, including managing projects and tasks; preparing proposals; coordinating with other staff to prepare and distribute invoices; managing complex project tasks in support of large projects; liaising with clients and other POWER staff; and, developing business on a continuous basis to support the department and company’s financial goals.

· Develops business for POWER by networking with potential clients and participating in professional trade associations by attending conferences, tradeshows, and webinars

· Mentors POWER’s resource staff on technical issues related to the power generation sector

· Advocates for POWER’s clients, keeping them informed of pertinent regulatory matters and other issues that impact their business

· Supports business development activities by helping to develop internal marketing materials and contributes technical articles to POWER publications

· Assists power generation sector clients in determining federal and state air quality regulatory applicability and develops strategies and systems for compliance

· Participates in public meetings and hearings on behalf of clients

· Performs and ensures QA/QC of technical work

· Preparing applications for initial pre-construction air quality permits and for air quality permit renewals, amendments, and alterations for submission to state and federal agencies

· Defining data requirements, gathering and validating information for emission calculations

· Utilizing software for emissions estimation, regulatory compliance management, and/or assessment of air quality impacts

· Communicating scientific and technical information through oral briefings, written documents, workshops, and conferences

**Required Education/Experience**

· Bachelor's degree in Chemical or Environmental Engineering, Environmental Science, Meteorology, or related science field

· Ten (10 ) + years of relevant air quality permitting and compliance experience, with significant power generation sector project management experience

· Excellent communication skills including report writing, oral presentations, and direct verbal communication

· Proficiency in the use of standard software including Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint

· Availability to travel to client sites periodically

· Valid driver's license

**Desired Education/Experience**

· Master's degree in Chemical or Environmental Engineering or a related science field

· Professional Engineer (PE) certification

· Project management professional (PMP) certification

· Prior environmental consulting experience

· Client management experience

· Familiarity with calculations, compliance, and regulatory compliance management software for the assessment of air quality emissions and impacts

As an Associate Project Manager within our Utility Coordination group, you will both lead and participate in a variety of project management activities that ensure the successful completion of project deliverables for complex and high-priority projects. This position assists our Project Managers by providing high-quality solutions to successfully resolve utility conflicts within our clients’ project area.

The ideal candidate will have connectivity and prior experience with **Class I Railroads and DOTs** **.**

Primary Responsibilities include:

+ Ability to review, interpret, and understand technical plan sets and subsurface utility engineering (SUE) reports and findings.

+ Ability to identify utility conflicts as it relates to client’s project.

+ Act as an internal resource to our Project Mangers for all utility coordination efforts.

+ When needed, act as a liaison between our clients and other project stakeholders.

+ Capable of receiving constructive feedback and participating in continuously improving competencies and efficiencies.

+ Participate in the reporting efforts related to project status, submittals, resolutions, and management all financial aspects related to assigned projects.

+ Monitors progress and measures project performance, ensuring deliverable align with established scope, schedule, and budget.

+ Participate in change order requests, executes risk management techniques, and implements strategies to minimize negative financial impact to the project.

+ Coordination with internal staff and external subconsultants to complete all aspects of project deliverables.

+ Collaborate with technical staff and Project Managers to provide technical guidance to clients and maintain a high-quality project deliverable.

+ Develop and maintain professional relationships with a focus on exceptional client service to secure future work.

+ Adheres to regulations and enforces safety standards.

+ **Travel to job sites with clients and other stakeholders will be required (estimated up to 25% travel time per week).**

Job Purpose

Our Workday Project Manager (Contractor) will lead the implementation of the Workday Project and Human Resources transformation for the Americas region. + Techno-functional in Workday with an understanding of the Workday product and the technicalities of how a Workday implementation is done.

+ Workday HCM or Project Manager Certification is required.

As a Project Manager, you will provide mission support for the Network Enterprise Technology Command (NETCOM) located on Fort Huachuca (US ARMY). The Project Manager will be responsible for the planning, design, development, engineering, integration, technical and operational support for the Non-Classified Internet Protocol Router Network (NIPRNET), Secret Internet Protocol Router Network (SIPRNET), and Deployed Forces (DF) portion of the Department of Defense Information Network (DODIN).

Job Responsibilities:

+ Perform capability management by developing vision and direction for Army organizations to include formulation of IT infrastructure and services to produce a coherent IT environment to ensure NETCOM can operate, manage, and defend the Army’s portion of the DODIN consistent with, and as a part of, joint and combined forces.

+ Schedule project meetings, coordinate, participate in working group meetings with project stakeholders to track progress, identify requirements, and problem areas, review service/capabilities requirements, and coordinate milestones.

+ Provide technical expertise in the development and maintenance of project plans and integrated schedules in support of assigned capability for government approval.

+ Monitor and document project implementation activities using established government guidelines and reporting procedures.
