+ Examines specifications of the customer’s order using drawings, work orders, or blueprints to determine the characteristics of the finished item, materials to be used, and machine setup requirements.

**Nature and Scope**
+ Selects correct processes from clearly prescribed rules, past practices, or instruction. Seeks advice and guidance on non-routine or problem areas from supervisor. Deviations from the norm are cleared by the supervisor.
+ Under close supervision, exercises limited latitude/independent judgment. Work typically involves detailed checks or close review of output by a senior coworker and/or supervisor.

**Work Environment**
+ Typically located in a comfortable environment but with regular exposure to factors that may cause noticeable discomfort or a moderate risk of accident or illness, such as temperature extremes, moving machinery, loud noises, and fumes.

3. Grind with 90° angle grinder.
4. Operate pendent controlled bridge crane safely and efficiently.
5. Read weld symbols and check weld size using weld fillet gauges.
6. Heat material to required temperature using temperature sticks and heating torch/cutting torch.
(read and follow pre-heart & interpass temperature tables.)
7. Set machines according to procedure charts.
8. Use air chipper to chip of slag.
9. Use natural gas tube heaters to pre-heat steel.

11. Follow weld procedures as it applies to volts, amps & wire feed speed.
12. Heat, straighten and be able to know when to use pre-heat to offset distortion.
13. Meet requirement of Class "C" and "B" welders with greater efficiency.
14. Perform other duties as required by management.

Purpose:
To be a direct link between the Shop Supervisor and the shift team. The Lead Person assigns workload to complete daily fabrication needs and complies with all safety, quality, quantity, and shop housekeeping standards.
Your Responsibilities:
Must adhere to Nucor Rebar Fabrication safety programs and standards. Demonstrate conduct consistent with Nucor Rebar Fabrication mission statement. Work with Branch Shop Manager in establishing daily work assignments to maximize shift operations. Oversee all processes, equipment, employees, safety, and shop housekeeping in meeting production quality and quantity standards on the shift. Help train new employees in the safe and efficient use of equipment to which they are assigned. Troubleshoot production problems so that delays are minimized, and equipment functions as safely and efficiently as possible. Oversee and/or assist with maintenance on all shop equipment and report any problems to Maintenance. Quality Control (QC) - Perform inspections of completed work for correct quantity, accurate fabrication, correctly tagged material, and timely shipment. Provide performance feedback to Shop Supervisor in support of merit program and/or disciplinary actions. Ensure that established policies, rules and regulations, and procedures are followed. Collect necessary data for production reports, time sheets, incentive calculations and other reports as required by management. Where appropriate, operate computer equipment. Perform various jobs such as operation of sheer, bender, crane, car puller, fork-lift operator, etc. so that shift work is done efficiently and on time. Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
Minimum Requirements:
Legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship now or in the future. OSHA 30 certificate.
Preferences:
At least two years experience in a rebar shop or manufacturing setting or equivalent. Skilled in communication, supervision, and planning. Basic knowledge of business and industrial regulations.

Purpose:

Responsibilities:
+ Lead our safety performance, ensuring compliance with all federal, state and local safety, occupational health and environmental regulations, including OSHA.
+ Conduct training and culture-building activities with branch teammates to lead with safety in mind.

Position Description
Kinder Morgan is one of the largest energy infrastructure in North America owning and operating approximately 79,000 miles of pipeline. We are currently looking to hire a Welder for our Pipeline Project Support Division.
PRIMARY PURPOSE:
Coordinate and complete welding, construction and maintenance tasks as part of a roving pipeline crew.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
+ Perform pipe fabrication welds, in-service welds, tie-in welds and hot taps on steel pipelines that range in various sizes up to 42 O.D. on natural gas and products pipelines
+ Have knowledge of or possess experience in all phases of mobilizing, operating and maintaining heavy excavation equipment to include excavation frequently on in-service natural gas pipelines.
+ Read and interpret engineering construction blueprints for projects.
+ Scope, plan, estimate, track costs and schedule work and resources for projects.
+ Operate trucks, welding rigs and trailers for hauling equipment or project materials to job site.
+ Assist Pipeline Specialists in field checks prior to excavation.
+ Locate and mark pipelines with pipeline locating equipment or probe rods using drawing and alignment sheets for reference.
+ Inspect coating, remove coating and complete surface preparation for the application of coating for buried pipe service.
+ Calibrate and maintain a holiday detector for coating application inspection.
