As Millwright, your primary duties include dismantling, erecting, assembling, aligning, adjusting, and/or maintaining machinery and equipment according to installation manuals, work instructions, layout plans, blueprints, and other drawings.

Allied Tube and Conduit – a part of Atkore – currently has an opening for second and third shift Maintenance Millwright workers at our Phoenix, AZ plant. The position will have broad responsibility for trouble shooting, performing preventative maintenance and working on the machines and welders. This position will work second / third shift and flexibility will be required dependent on projects and workload.
Job Responsibility Maintenance Millwright Position:
* Troubleshoot, diagnose and repair equipment and machinery.
* Prioritize work load and perform any job in the facility in which he/she is trained.
* Preventative maintenance and ownership of machinery and facility upkeep.
* Accurately complete required reporting paperwork including analysis, action plan project work, counter measures.
* Accountable for performing high quality work within production facility.
* Involved participant of machinery training material and execution.
* Lead a culture of 5S throughout the facility.
* All other duties as assigned.
Mechanical or Electrical course work or experience required.
Previous Maintenance work experience in a manufacturing setting preferred.
Machine operation and mechanical skill set experience preferred.
Knowledge of steel or manufacturing processes desired.

The primary responsibility of the Steam/Gas Mechanic is to safely accomplish the installation, maintenance and repair of the heavy rotating machinery used mainly in power generation applications. Turbine Mechanics work closely with Supervisors, EHS personnel, and the Operations Department to achieve these goals. You may be assigned other duties to help proactively drive our FieldCore vision and align with our organization’s core values.
