This is the entry level position. The Machine Operator will operate blow-mold, grinders, trimmer machines and conveyor systems. Role is responsible for troubleshooting process problems and performing minor maintenance to ensure continued operation of the production line. The Machine Operator is also responsible for following our company's Good Manufacturing Practices.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

+ Ensure compliance with corporate and plant safety standards and with applicable laws and regulations issued by regulatory agencies.

+ Operate blow-mold machines (including wheels, reciprocating or shuttle machines) to ensure production of quality bottles and perform audits, weights and quality checks. Machines may vary by site.

+ Adhere to quality control and to blow mold process procedure.

+ Troubleshoot and perform minor repair on blow-mold and support equipment.

+ Make adjustments to meet product specifications.

+ Introduction to preventive maintenance, mold, neck and blow pin and other mechanical changes.

+ Grind excess bottle and material.

+ Introduction to t roubleshoot ing and resolv ing process problems.

+ Prepare maintenance request forms and document equipment repairs.

+ Prepare & document daily production reports, including rejects, regrinds, line efficiencies and other.

+ Other duties as assigned by management.

As an Electrical & Automation Technician, your role is crucial in ensuring the smooth operation of all process control and operational support systems equipment. **REQUIREMENTS:**

+ 3 to 5 years’ experience in manufacturing maintenance; process industry preferred

+ Experience with automation systems for building, facility, utility, and process controls preferred

+ Experience with Siemens PLCs, including process and machine motion control logic

+ Experience with HMI systems (preferably SIMATIC WinCC V7 / V8), such as Allen-Bradley FactoryTalk View, Wonderware’s InTouch and ArchestrA platform

**SKILLS:**

+ Strong electrical distribution and circuit analysis skills with medium voltage electrical systems.

+ Safe use of electrical multimeter to measure AC/DC voltage, continuity, and resistance.

Primary Responsibilities:

· Responsible for accessing programs, setting tools, operating, and troubleshooting of multiple CNC press brakes.

· Perform duties as specified by work orders, blueprints, sketches, or verbal instructions.

· Reads and interprets blueprints and work instructions to determine appropriate operations to be performed.

· Uses inspection tools including calipers, micrometers, tape measures and squares to perform quality checks on parts as outlined by the work instructions.

· Ensure all jobsite safety procedures and standards are followed and met.

· Observe and listen to machine operation to detect malfunctions during the manufacturing process.

· Understand, support, and implement the company Housekeeping, Safety and Quality policies and procedures into daily work habits.

· Clean and organize the workstation.

· Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

· Regular attendance is essential.

· Must have a high degree of mechanical aptitude.

· Must have the ability to write, speak and read in English.

· Must be able to pass print reading, measurement, and fraction/decimal conversion tests.

· Ability to pass print reading, measurement, and fraction/decimal conversion tests.

· Familiarity with CNC brake presses preferred (training available).

Work Environment:

The work involves moderate risks or discomforts which require special safety precautions, e.g., working around moving parts, machines, fumes, or irritating chemicals. May be required to use protective clothing, or gear such as masks, goggles, gloves, or shields.

Shifts Available

1st Shift - 4:30am to 1:00pm

2nd Shift - 1:00pm to 9:30pm

Physical Demands:

The work requires some physical exertion such as extended periods both indoors and outdoors of remaining stationary, traversing spaces, repositioning to reach and use tools, and moving a minimum of 50 lbs. assisted or unassisted.

As a machine operator helper, you are a machine operator in training. You will be responsible for assistance with preparing materials and product output.
