    **Description:**

    Structural welder working on large mining machines. Welders will be working inside of a large bay (swamp cooled) repairing huge mining excavators. Welders will be repairing structural flaws in equipment that happen through normal wear and tear of equipment use. Will be welding AR400 and AR500 steel one day and softer steel the next day. Could spend time gouging out welds. Will be using fabricating skills on a daily basis, reading prints and shop drawings, and expected to communicate well with peers and supervisors.

    The Fabricating Supervisor is responsible for the oversight of machines and personnel associated with finishing activities including folding, gluing, waxing, stripping, and bundling.     * Minimum of 3 years repair experience in maintenance, electrical, plumbing, or refrigeration trade. Preferred ice business experience or related food production industry.

    POSITION SCOPE

    The Maintenance Manager/Supervisor is a safety sensitive position supervises a crew to perform all necessary duties in the manufacture and maintenance of equipment and crusher repairs. Individual will assist with scheduling work, checking accuracy, and quality control for all phases of fabrication and/or repair. The position will work closely with other team members.

    PRIMARY DUTIES

    + Adhere to preventative maintenance program including inspection and oil changes

    + Diagnose, maintain and repair semi-trucks, trailers and dump trucks

    + Troubleshoot/Solve mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues on various production and facility equipment

    + Read, analyze and interpret technical procedures, electrical schematics, service manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance work

    + Disassemble, assemble, install new machines, condition monitor sensors, equipment

    + Ability to properly manage time and responsibilities

    + Knowledge of standard tools/techniques and computer diagnostics

    + Safety, Safety, Safety comply with all DOT and company policies, procedures, regulations and standards of safety
