    Print Process Operator II

    Summary:
    Sets up, operates and adjusts automatic screen-printing press equipment to produce a variety of letters, numbers and signs.

    Essential Functions:

    * Prepares machine, screen, squeegee and ink (semi-automatic and cylinder presses).

    * Sets up feeder, belts, registration guides and stack for operation.

    * Adjusts machine to obtain proper print registration and verifies ink has proper adhesion to the substrate.

    * Measures UV output to verify the joules and the correct watts of the U.V. reactor.

    * Continuously monitors and visually inspects machine components and finished products to ensure print quality.

    * Conserves resources by using equipment and supplies to accomplish job results without waste.

    * Uses knowledge and experienced to resolve basic operating problems; reports all other problems to supervisor.

    * Ensures completion of area documentation including material transfer forms.

    * Performs basic equipment preventative maintenance.

    * Maintains a clean and orderly work area.

    * Completes and records results of in-process Quality inspections.

    * Performs all other related duties as assigned.

    * Participates in Production improvement and cost reduction efforts.

    * Maintains area metrics documentation.

    * Performs basic set-up and operation of digital printing and cutting equipment.

    * Ability to perform electronic inventory transactions

    * Performs all other related duties as assigned.

    Education:
    High School diploma or GED equivalent is required; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
    Qualifications:
    * Two years’ experience operating automatic sheet feed and/or cylinder screen printing presses.

    * Strong multi-tasking skills, mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.

    * Able to work from verbal and written instructions.

    * Strong computer knowledge. Ability to operate Micro-Soft suite software

    * Some digital printing experience preferred.
