Overview
We're a food tech startup, offering creative, culturally-immersive, flexible, and fun work opportunities (cooking gigs) to cooks of ALL skill levels, from amateur cook (college student or home-cook) to professional cooks/chefs. Everyone's welcome to participate, no matter their cooking skill level. There's no cost to set up your cooking profile and share your cooking services with the community. You're the boss - you decide all aspects of your work.
We celebrate diversity and inclusion and seek to offer eaters (customers) with culturally diverse food experiences. We also seek to help cooks share their stories, cultures, backgrounds, and histories through these unique cooking gigs.
We support community building and we help eaters connect with cooks of various backgrounds in their own communities, for farm-to-table meals and food experiences that help humans connect with one another in authentic ways.
Anyone with cooking skills of any skill level (as long as you know how to cook some basic dishes for yourself) can join. We want to be inclusive of all skill levels and are intentionally not limiting ourselves to only cooks of a certain experience level.
To join our community of cooks, please download our mobile app called "Bites | Eat With Your Tribe" from the App Store onto your iPhone or iPad. Then indicate that you want to join as a cook.
