Overview
The Hassayampa Inn was built in 1927. It was the first community hotel in Prescott and was immediately acknowledged not only for its comforts, but its beauty as well. The hotel was named after the Hassayampa River to the north of town. Hassayampa is an Apache word for “the river that loses itself” or “the upside-down river”.
