Part of the Developer Engagement Org, The Listening and Direct Engagement Channels (LDEC) team is chartered with helping tool and infrastructure owners, as well as the engineers that use their products, to have the right information at their fingertips in real-time so they can make the best decisions possible to prioritize the work in the right way, for the right reasons within LinkedIn.
Where You Come In:
As a Staff UI Engineer, you will be a key player in helping the LDEC team drive and execute the next generation of User Experiences for the LDEC Products, including Outpost - the next iteration of Developer Engagement’s cornerstone experience. You will partner with the Developer Engagement Sr. Staff Corps to take point on leading feature and experience implementations that align with the product roadmaps.
You will also serve as a key technical resource and mentor to Senior and Mid-Level UI Engineers across Developer Engagement, and will scale your domain experience and expertise through these relationships and leadership opportunities.
- You will be implementing the core user experience for Listening and Direct Engagement Channels products.
- You will collaborate with other infrastructure and product teams to understand customer needs, launch new products, iterate on existing features, and build a world-class customer experience.
- You will mentor and develop junior talent.
- You will provide technical leadership, driving and performing best engineering practices to initiate, plan, and execute large-scale, cross-functional, and company-wide critical programs.
- You will help identify, leverage, and successfully evangelize opportunities to improve engineering productivity.
- BA/BS Degree in Computer Science or related technical discipline, or related practical experience.
- 4+ years’ experience in software design, development, and algorithm related solutions.
- BS and 8+ years of relevant work experience, MS and 7+ years of relevant work experience, or PhD and 4+ years of relevant work experience
- Experience in building product UIs at a large scale, with a preference for enterprise-level products.
- Experience and a demonstrated passion for Data Visualization is a strong plus.

The pay range for this role is $133,000 to $222,000. Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience, certifications, and specific work location. This may be different in other locations due to differences in the cost of labor.
