The Hardware in the Loop (HWIL) RF Systems Department has the responsibility to design, develop, and maintain complex engineering test systems (missile flight simulators) that operate real-time and closed loop with the weapon’s hardware and software.

Depending on the individual’s area of interest and experience, responsibilities may include:

• Participating as a team member in detailed circuit design

• MATLAB model generation

• Functional analysis

• Software coding, testing and integration in labs using C++

• Functional verification testing

The chosen candidate will learn frequent use and application of technical standards, principles, concepts and techniques. Candidates will be expected to provide recommendations to a variety of technical problems of appropriate scope and complexity, working under general supervision. Successful candidates should expect to be immersed in a fast paced, team-based, and challenging technical environment where an individual with talent and initiative can stand out and thrive.

The ability to obtain and maintain a US Secret security clearance. U.S. citizenship is required as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

Required Skills:

• Course work in one or more of the following areas: Electrical Engineering, Computer Science (C++), Math, Physics, digital circuit design, analog circuit design, digital signal processing, or control theory.

• This position requires either a U.S. Person or a Non-U.S. Person who is eligible to obtain any required Export Authorization.

• U.S. Citizenship status is required as this position will require the ability to access US only data systems.

• Minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA (Please upload an unofficial transcript when applying) and in in your Junior Year, or above

Required Education:

Currently pursuing a BS/MS degree from an accredited university in Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, or related discipline. Graduation date should not be earlier than Fall of 2023.
