**Job Brief**

Phoenix-based SRP, one of the nation's largest public power and water utility is recruiting for a Mobile Application Developer.

As a Mobile Application Developer, you're responsible for building and maintaining mobile application content that is used by thousands of SRP customers every day. You work on a team of other Mobile Application Developers who share the same commitment to the customer as you do and are dedicated to making the SRP mobile experience an industry leader. You have strong coding and analytical skills and embrace collaboration.

**Job Responsibilities**

The position will be expected to:

• Work closely with our User Experience designer, client team and your fellow Developers to deliver flexible and innovative mobile-based solutions.

• Discover and embrace emerging mobile application standards in order to deliver a leading customer experience.

• Create content that delivers exceptional user experience using mobile application development best practices.

• Follow an agile methodology, but be flexible to switch or adapt methodologies based on project or resource needs.

• Work independently and in a team

**Education**

Completion of a Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution that prepares the employee for the assignment.

**Experience**

Promotion to Level 2 requires a minimum of two years of experience at Level 1; demonstrated capability to perform advanced and more difficult work as determined by the supervisor. Promotion to Senior Level requires a minimum of three-years of experience at Level 2; is fully competent in all aspects of functional area of assignment and as such would be recognized as a specialist in area of assignment and may have periodic or occasional lead responsibilities.

Preferred Knowledge and Skills:

• Experience with agile development methodologies

• Experience interfacing with clients to gather requirements

• Experience in solution design.

• Experience developing and testing across multiple platforms and using mobile development tools (e.g. Xcode, Android Studio).

• Experience working in a distributed architecture environment

• Experience with SQL scripting for both Microsoft and/or DB2

• Understanding of mobile security best practices

• Experience with supporting and maintaining code in a production environment and helping to maintain a common, integrated technology platform.

• Experience with Swift and UIKit

• Experience with Xcode and Android Studio

• Experience with Kotlin and the latest Android SDK

• Experience with writing Unit and Integrations tests in Kotlin and Swift

• Familiarity with SwiftUI, Combine and Android Jetpack Compose a plus

• Experience in building UIs with both Storyboards and Code

**Additional Information**

BS/MS in Computer Science or other technical field, plus 2-5 years related experience. Placement in job family as well as Career Ladder will be evaluated on an individual basis according to experience and educational background.
