Java Developer

A Java Web Developer creates and maintains web applications for computers and mobile devices primarily using the Java programming language. As a Java web developer, your job duties include developing software applications using a programming language or framework such as HTML, CSS, Java, and JavaScript; debugging and troubleshooting issues as they arise; creating patches and updates for web-based applications; and integrating Java applications with other programs using an application programming interface (API) or other technologies. You may work independently or with a team, so strong communication and collaboration skills are essential in this role.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS
Contribute in all phases of a full Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).
Participate in an Agile development process, sometimes leading these efforts.
Develop mid-tier JAVA 7both REST and SOAP API services.
Perform hands-on development work using HTML, Java, and JSP.
Design systems and components on JBoss, Tomcat.
Proactively address technical issues and risks that could impact project schedule and/or integrity of the application environment
Produce high quality code to ensure maintainability.
Implement new features and contribute to the development of new and existing software products.
Participate in design meetings and code reviews.
Define and analyze requirements to envision features and functionality.
Write clean and efficient code based on feature specifications.
Contribute to the development of technical documentation that supports use and/or maintenance.
Debugging and Troubleshooting technical issues.
