Job Responsibilities:

Layout of electrical per plans and local codes
Insure all electric is installed per plan and code
Ask questions to determine severity of electrical problem
Choose an array of tools and materials according to the repair work that needs to be done
Confer with customers to determine their electrical repair needs
Read and interpret blueprints and cabinet details to insure correct location of electrical
Follow architectural drawings to determine installation of wiring systems
Replace faulty wires and parts and ensure that the new ones are in proper working order
Inspect electrical systems and components to determine condition and identify needed repairs
Install a variety of electrical system components such as lighting, switches, circuits, panels and outlets
Identify hazards or defects in electrical systems by performing periodic inspections.
Plan layout of electrical wiring and equipment keeping in mind local building codes and project specifications

Job Requirements:

At least 2 years' experience in residential electrical construction
Valid US Driver's License with clean driving history
Current Texas Electrical License
Possess and maintain required tools
Must be willing to undergo a pre-employment criminal, driving and drug screen
Must be able to provide work authorization documents upon hire

Required Education:

High school diploma or the equivalent
