Job Description:
We are currently seeking empathetic and dedicated Direct Support Providers/Caregivers to join our team supporting individuals in Arizona. As a key member of our organization, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the daily lives of individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities through person-centered care.
Responsibilities:
Provide direct care and support to individuals with IDD in various settings, including the individuals home and community environments.
Assist with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, meal preparation, and household tasks.
Foster a supportive and inclusive environment that encourages independence and social engagement.
Implement individualized care plans and behavioral support strategies.
Facilitate community integration and participation in recreational activities.
Document and communicate individual progress, challenges, and achievements.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Previous experience working with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities is preferred.
Compassion, patience, and a genuine commitment to enhancing the lives of others.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to adapt to varying needs and support individual preferences.
