Group Home Manager

Responsibilities of the Program Manager

• Supervise a team of Direct Support Professionals.
• Providing direct support care.
• Support, Assist, and Teach individuals with developmental disabilities daily living skills.
• Report any concerns about health and safety and keeping documentation accurate and up-to-date.
• Use effective teaching and mentoring techniques to work with the people we support as they learn new skills and achieve goals.
Requirements of the Program Manager
• High school or equivalent
• Current Arizona driver license; Must qualify as driver for AIRES insurance
• Must be at least 21 years of age
• Must have the ability to successfully pass background check with Arizona Central Registry, Arizona Adult Protective Services and obtain Level One Fingerprint Clearance
• Pass AIRES training
• Good physical stamina and the ability to safely stand, pivot, and move up to 40 pounds in order to transfer people are required
• Basic computer proficiency
• Excellent communication skills with an ability to establish rapport with staff members and the individuals we support.
• Strong organizational abilities
