Job Description

This person will be conducting investigations of allegations against allopathic physicians and physician assistants licensed in Arizona, with an emphasis on both quality of care complaints and professional conduct violations. Matters investigated include sensitive issues such as substance abuse and sexual misconduct. Duties that are equivalent of a paralegal, including, preparing case reports and presenting cases before the Arizona Medical Board. Testifying before the Office of Administrative Hearings. Prioritizing, planning, organizing, and conducting investigations. Interpreting statutes and rules.
