Axiom Care is a fast-paced, rapidly growing substance abuse treatment and sober living housing provider with locations in the Phoenix metro area and Apache Junction. We primarily serve low-income and justice-involved individuals who are seeking to change their life for the better. We achieve this by offering multiple levels of care along with medical services, evidence-based professional counseling, case management, housing assistance, employment assistance, and more.
A Security Guard is responsible for protecting clients, visitors, and staff members. Their duties include monitoring a specific area, evicting trespassers and writing reports detailing any occurrences during their shift.
Duties/Responsibilities
· Patrol and monitor premises regularly to maintain a safe and secure environment.
· Conduct security checks and inspections of designated areas.
· Monitor surveillance cameras and alarm systems.
· Respond to alarms and investigate disturbances.
· Provide assistance to customers, employees, and visitors in a professional and courteous manner.
· Enforce property rules and regulations.
· Perform loss prevention duties to prevent theft or damage to property.
· Report any suspicious activities or incidents to the appropriate authorities.
· Complete detailed reports on security incidents and maintain accurate records.
· Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.
· As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
· As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
· Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
Supervisory Responsibilities
· None.
Required Skills/Abilities:
· Active CPR and First Aid certification required (may be provided by Axiom).
· Must have an AZ Guard Card.
· Proficient in surveillance techniques and the use of CCTV systems.
· Knowledge of law enforcement procedures and security operations.
· Strong conflict management skills to handle difficult situations calmly and effectively.
· Attention to detail and follow instructions accurately.
