Link Solutions is seeking a VMware Systems Administrator (Associate-Level) to join our Mid-Shift (hours details below) team in Sierra Vista, Arizona.

+ Must be a US Citizen

+ Non-remote (relocation incentive available)

The VMware Systems Administrator will support the U.S. Army Network Enterprise Technology Command (NETCOM) cyberspace and defend the Global Network Enterprise to enable information superiority. Your primary responsibilities include managing the functionality and efficiency of a group of computers running on one or more secure operating systems.

Job Responsibilities:

+ Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 support to hosted tenants.

+ Design, plan, implement, and administer enterprise blade server and storage technologies.

+ Provide guidance and work leadership to less-experienced staff members.

+ Install, configure, and integrate servers associated with a VMware virtual infrastructure.

+ Perform backups, troubleshooting, and problem resolution for servers associated with a VMware virtual infrastructure.

+ Build highly available server clusters in a vSphere environment.

+ Build and configure virtual networks.

+ Assist with the coordination and implementation of hardware maintenance, upgrades, repairs, or replacements supporting the virtualization infrastructure

+ Provide advice and training to end-users.

+ Administer enterprise VMware-based virtualization infrastructures covering vCenter ESXi environments.

+ Monitor and troubleshoot system performance within the VMware environment.

+ Must be a US Citizen.

+ DoD Secret Security Clearance or be eligible to obtain it (willing to sponsor the right candidate).

+ IAT Level II Certification (CompTIA Security+ CE equivalent or higher).

+ AA/AS degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field with a comprehensive understanding of computer science concepts or two (2) years of directly related experience in systems administration or a similar role.

+ Computing environment VMware (VCP-DCV) or Cisco (CCNP-DC) experience.

+ Experience with Cisco FlexPod, VMWare (or equivalent virtualization technologies), or Network Attached Storage systems.

Preferred:

+ Active Secret DoD security clearance.

+ Computing environment certificate (CCNA) or equivalent.

+ Associate’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field with a comprehensive understanding of computer science concepts.

+ Knowledgeable in creating a PPS (Ports, protocols, & services) request.

+ Experience with network installations and upgrades.

+ Experience with Active Directory, Windows 10, Microsoft Office 365, and remote desktop (Citrix).

+ Experience working in a Department of Defense (DoD) environment.

+ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

+ Ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently.

+ Ability to communicate technical information to non-technical users.

+ Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently

+ Accurate and precise attention to detail.

+ Strong written and verbal communication skills.

+ Excellent analytical, quantitative, and organizational skills.

Security Clearance:

+ Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.

+ DOD Security Clearance is required (Secret-Level minimum).

+ A DOD Interim Security Clearance (Secret-Level minimum) is accepted until full DOD Security Clearance has been granted.

Shift/Hours Information:

+ Mid-Shift

+ Sunday - Wednesday

+ Hours: 10:00 p.m. – 8:30 a.m.
