**Summary:**

As the Director of Production and Business Management, you will act as the right hand to the Head of Content, supporting the various category investments we are executing against in the pursuit of our audience-widening efforts.In this role, you will help support the Content Org’s strategic priorities, outline data-driven strategic decisions, and frame actionable recommendations. This is a hybrid role that is a mix of Production and Operations. You will help shape and execute on our long term content strategy by leveraging operational program management skills with a deep understanding of what it takes to build Content. You will serve as an accelerant to a wide variety of investment and content types. Gaming, Fitness, Entertainment, Horizon, and Application content across a mix of internally built, fully funded, and partially funded deal models. This role calls for a driver who can bring together the right stakeholders, develop frameworks, align on tradeoffs, and move to next steps. This role will closely partner with the VP, Head of Studios, VP, Head of Metaverse Content Platform, Horizon leadership, and key XFNs across the company.In addition to the above, you’ll be the point person to drive strategic program management and execution leadership on programs ranging from headcount allocation and tracking, opex allocation and tracking, team operations, process improvement, and employee engagement programs, enabling our team to execute and innovate at speed. You will help the VP, Metaverse Content leadership effectively allocate resources, both within and across product portfolios, by providing a holistic understanding of our content investments, products, markets, and more.

**Required Skills:**

Director, Production and Business Management Responsibilities:

1. Support and influence the shape of our long term vision for the business, organization, content categories, and products. You will act as the right hand to the Head of Content, helping to solve issues so that they can focus elsewhere.

2. Categories within Content are in a variety of stages toward full product-market fit. You will adapt your approach to supporting each of these kinds of experiences as appropriate.

3. You will rigorously experiment, design and influence the creation of these new kinds of experiences for consumers and the new business models that will support builders, creators, partners and developers.

4. Drive integration and communication of new strategies across multiple cross-disciplinary functions to ensure they thrive.

5. Uphold a culture of respect, integrity, inclusion, innovation.

6. Represent Facebook’s Metaverse content efforts internally and externally.

7. Work with Content and cross-functional leadership to track the slate of Content investments, identifying and collaborating on solutions early so that we can deliver on our goal of driving platform adoption.

8. Coach and Mentor leaders of your team to contribute to a standard framework for large non-game projects that includes key technical milestones (e.g. Concept Review, Pre-production, Vertical Slice, Production, etc.) to deliver products on time, on budget and at quality.

9. Implement the structure, success metrics and criteria, and operating rhythms to deliver results whilst also shaping the overall long range plans and budget priorities.

10. Consult with the teams overseeing the development of funded content ensuring that their needs are appropriately supported by management towards the pursuit of delivering content predictably at quality.

11. Partner with internal cross functional teams in FInance, Data Science, and Marketing to enhance and accelerate our operating models

12. Partner with 1P Studio Production and Operations and across our 2P and 3P Ecosystem verticals to create a cohesive content slate operating plan that creates meaningful visibility at key moments in development while still giving teams autonomy to operate given the nuances of individual projects/deal structures.

**Minimum Qualifications:**

14. 15+ years of relevant production/games industry experience in senior leadership roles.

15. Proven experience creating and implementing complex strategies and plans to bring products to market either within an organization or in collaboration with external developers, stakeholders, or partners.

16. Demonstrated experience with various deal / content categories.

17. Experience to influence through collaboration by fostering proven relationships

18. Proven experience to overseeing creative teams and/or developers creating and then delivering high quality software products or services

19. Proven understanding of the software development life cycle, tools, and processes from pre-production through to launch and in to live services

**Public Compensation:**

$298,000/year to $347,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits
