Coconino County Public Works is seeking an Equipment Operator I/II. The ideal candidate will have 3 to 7 years' experience in road maintenance, snow removal, and be capable of operating truck/trailer, loader, backhoe, and other equipment.
Minimum Qualifications:
OPERATOR LEVEL I:
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Two years of experience operating equipment appropriate to position under field conditions OR, any equivalent combination of education, training and experience which demonstrates the ability to perform the duties of the position.
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
Must have an Arizona CDL Class B with Tanker Endorsement and maintain it throughout employment. Must acquire basic work zone traffic control/flagger training, along with MSHA certification within the first year of employment. Block One training shall be completed, along with additional training Block Two as outlined in CCPW Internal Training Development Plan.

Preferred Qualifications: include good communication skills, and experience operating a variety of road maintenance equipment including a loader, backhoe, roller, and snowplow truck.
