**Job Description**

This role is based **remotely** but if you live within a 50-mile radius of Atlanta, Austin, Detroit, Warren, Pontiac, or Milford, you are expected to report to that location three times a week, at minimum.

The **Curation Specialist Lead** for the Learning Ecosystem within General Motors will be an expert in connecting learning assets with technological capabilities, maintaining consistent processes and meeting the needs of the end user. The curation specialist can respond quickly to business requirements and partner to meet the needs of subject matter experts and will be an integral member of GM’s Global Learning Team.

**Essential Responsibilities:**

+ Maintains the standards and processes of GM’s LXP and the user experience from the enterprise

+ Fosters a relationship with functional learning advisers to clearly connect business goals to learning solutions

+ Leads the usage and integration efforts of systems with the LXP

+ Collaborate with vendor partners to ensure content is relevant for the business

+ Leads a team of curation analysts to support coordinated curation efforts for supported business functions

+ Creates continued partnerships with adjacent GM analytics teams and organizations

+ Consults with HR and business leaders on skills and capabilities support

+ Continually assesses the operational effectiveness of training and development to deliver service, reevaluate approaches, and introduce innovations to change processes that are ineffective

**Management Responsibilities:**

This position has direct reports. Manages staff and carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

**Required Qualifications / Skills / Experience** :

+ Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent education and experience.

+ 7+ years in a global learning team

+ 2+ years leading global project teams

+ Proficient data analytics skills (process and program level)

+ Leading knowledge of external learning industry

**Preferred Qualifications / Skills / Experience** :

+ Expert level experience in LXP

+ Automotive industry knowledge

**The expected base compensation for this role is: $83,800 - $133,900. Actual base compensation within the identified range will vary based on factors relevant to the position.**

**Bonus Potential: An incentive pay program offers payouts based on company performance, job level, and individual performance.**
