Calibration Technician (Metrology)

Responsibilities/Duties:

Calibrates and certifies Test, Measurement and Diagnostic Equipment (TMDE) traceable to the National Institute of Standards and Technology utilizing certified laboratory standards and manufacturer, commercial or military specifications/calibration procedures. Calibrates and troubleshoots fault isolation, adjustment and repairs using Test

Measure Diagnostic Equipment (TMDE) certified laboratory standards. Troubleshoots/repairs complex TMDE and integrated electronic systems utilizing theories of operation, block diagrams, schematics, logic trees and software diagnostics. Accurately records/reports maintenance actions using applicable maintenance data collection. Resolves group and customer issues, seeks to improve the overall productivity of the department, anticipates problems and initiates appropriate actions to eliminate them.

Qualifications:

+ AS degree or applicable Technical training and certifications.

+ Requires completion of formal training from a military, PMEL, TMDE or calibration school.

+ 4+ years of directly related experience.

+ Provides advanced technical/electronic and instrumentation equipment repair work, troubleshooting, modifying, testing, calibrating, adjusting, repairing, and installing electronic, digital and analog equipment and monitoring devices.

+ The Ideal Candidate would posses 3 years experience in RF calibrations.

+ Specific contract requirements regarding education and experience will prevail.

+ IndySoft, Fluke Met/Team, Fluke Met/Track and Met/Cal experience a plus.

+ Previous customer service experience is a plus

+ U.S. Citizenship Status required due to client requirement.

+ Proficient using Microsoft technology, including Excel
